The ground floor of the kangaroo villa is rented, it forms a separate unit of the house and was stripped and completely renovated in the spring of 2017. The total make-over turns the traditional villa into a luxurious home where you can have a wonderful holiday at the edge of the lively city. The rez-de-chaussee which is at your disposal are 3 bedrooms, one with integrated bathroom and an extra bathroom for the 2 other bedrooms. The living room and kitchen connect and both give direct access to the terrace and garden. Large pin umbrellas provide the house and behind the necessary shade. New beds, walls, floors, bathrooms and a new fully fitted kitchen, air conditioning for the hot days, you will feel good at promoting full. There is a modern interior and a large new terrace since spring 2018. On the large garden (3 hectares) years worked with love and the 10s of olive trees, cypresses, oleanders and mimosas give a view of the Canigou. At the halfway community pool in the garden is great to relax. Children can amuse themselves fully in the wild backyard where there may be really of hide. Less than 15 minutes walking you stand in the center of Ceret and you can stroll in the typical streets of the renowned museum exploring modern art. For the sympathetic busy Saturday market, many come from far away! The french bread you can's get morning on foot in the corner shop and department stores provide everything necessary to match the culinary life like God in France. Perpignan is driving half an hour with his old historic town and the Mediterranean (Collioure, Argeles). The Spanish border is crossed in a flash making Gerona, Figueira Cadaquez and Rosa are day trips. This Languedoc-Roussillon, which is the largest wine producer in the world, there is much to experience. There was recently a cycling 'Voie verte de Céret à Amélie-les-Bains' constructed which can be picked up from L'alosa. Who wants to discover the Pyrenees will make fine culture and nature walks will have an interesting base from Villa L 'Alosa.

Summary: Lovely apartment with great facilities, location was great for walks into town. The pool was lovely and sharing it with the owners upstairs was no problem. Super comfortable beds and linens, we had a great and restful week in Ceret!

Summary: Wonderful stay, should be the best apartment in Ceret. Nice garden with pool and huge terrace. Fully equipped apartment with modern style and perfect kitchen. We will come back.

Summary: Spacious with lovely gardens and great views of the hills. Interior was very well equipped with a good kitchen, a smart tv and a washing machine. We loved the two bathrooms which were very modern and had extremely effective walk in showers. The swimming pool had well used poolside umbrellas. Parking was on site. The centre of Ceret is walkable and there are lots of easily drivable destinations outside of the town. Claire the owner responds instantly to emails and was always helpful to us. Family members live, unobtrusively, upstairs and they were very helpful too especially when one of our group had a medical issue. Despite some initially schizophrenic weather we had an excellent fortnight at Villa Alisa. We’re very experienced with this kind of French holiday and can report this property is up with the best we’ve used in the past.

Summary: Claire’s home was so welcoming! Airy and bright even though it’s on the ground floor. Lots of space for 2 couples. Very comfortable beds. The outside space was spacious and the pool, a few steps away made for a perfect swim. The kitchen well stocked with everything that you would need to make meals. Claire herself is a gem. Gracious and kind and so helpful. Céret is a delightful place. Museum of modern Art is not to be missed. And a walk around the old town really interesting with spots of surprise art on display. We loved the cubist fountain. Thank you Claire!
