Summary: We had the most wonderful family trip - 10 of us, including 3 year old twins. The house has a very open air concept though there is plenty of shade. The two pools overlook a pretty beach (heavy on the seaweed so we mostly stayed on the property). The bedrooms are all large and have their own baths - very upscale construction and modern decor. There's a small room on the first floor with a peloton (don't bother with bike shoes) and a crosstrainer (was not working). The setting is fantastic though what really made the trip is the staff - phenomenal Chef David - we lived for every meal - thanks also to Diego from Mayaluxe, Aldo, Tony, Daniel and the rest of the very hardworking staff. All in all, a beautiful home, great for a group, and the most welcoming, helpful talented staff. We will miss you all!

Summary: Wow....between the house, the staff and the location, Villa Kin Ich is THE perfect vacation house!!! It may be hard to believe but the pictures don't even do this property justice. It was way more impressive than the pictures looked....we were 5 families who never felt like we were on top of each other. The bedrooms are beautiful with super comfortable beds, the pool/entertainment room is enormous and was a perfect place for the kids to unwind in the evening, it has a full workout room with an elliptical machine and Peloton bike(bring your bands to complete your workouts), the pool and deck are amazing, the covered bar and lounge area is HUGE with room for the whole group to get out of the sun to read, nap or play cards, and the rooftop zone was spectacular and our favorite place for evening cocktail hour and sunsets. The staff was incredible. The maintenance and housekeeping crews kept the rooms and grounds immaculate and were always smiling. The house manager, Tony, attended to all our needs and couldn't be a nicer guy(plus he makes an amazing cappuccino). Aldo is the afternoon/evening bartender and there is no better person for the job. He's an awesome dude and makes amazing drinks. Make sure you let him give you a sample of his creations. We already miss, you, Aldo! Marino is the chef and his dishes are out of this world! Make sure you ask for his empanadas, aguachile, fish tacos or octopus....the best! His kitchen staff, Joel, Samantha and Oscar were friendly and fun to be around. The houses location is perfect. It's in the quieter area of Playa Del Carmen and the beach is beautiful right out the front gate. It's all public beach there, but there are never more than a few groups of people right in front of the house. Town is only a 5 to 8 minute walk to the heart of everything. If you're thinking of renting a first-class villa anywhere in the Caribbean, Villa Kin Ich should be your #1.... THE BEST! Thank you to the crew at Maya Luxe - Jeremie, Kenan and especially Francisco for being so helpful and making our stay so special! THANK YOU
