Enjoy incomparable Caribbean views from Villa Mirino, a seaside retreat located only 5 minutes from Red Hook. Thanks to its exclusive cliff site between peninsulas, the property length deck provides a 210° unobstructed view of boating, sunrises and sunset. A fabulous 1800 sq ft deck and outdoor lanai feature a living room with sectional sofa and big screen HD TV, an outdoor kitchen with 75,000 BTU BBQ grill with rotisserie, and additional dining and chaise lounges. Comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests, the Villa boasts high ceilings and spacious rooms. Guests enjoy both property-wide air conditioning and a solar heated ocean-view pool, which are rarely found in the Virgin Islands. The two-level floor plan includes 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (3 Kings and 1 Queen), a fifth bedroom with bunk-beds, and 4.5 baths. Thoughtfully laid out for both families and adults, two king beds can be converted to twins. The main floor features one substantial master suite with walk-in closet, vanity and a bathroom featuring a bidet and additional adjacent half bath, a second king suite (convertible to twins) with bathroom, and the bunkbed room with full-size mattresses. 2 more spacious suites on the garden level include the other convertible king and a queen, both with ensuite bathrooms, and sliding glass doors to a patio with seating and views of the Caribbean. Each suite is complete with plush beds, full thread count sheets, and thick thirsty towels.The deck and pool area include 6 lounge chairs and al fresco dining for 6 with a propane BBQ grill and additional seating outside the master bedroom.
The Villa was fully renovated in 2013. It now features higher end amenities (such as Cuisinart stainless cookware), updated furnishings and the latest in home technologies, including property-wide free high speed Wi-Fi, a HD Sony 48' television with free premium DISH/Satellite TV, Sony PS3, Microsoft XBox 360, BluRay, Sonos Wi-Fi web stereo system throughout the main level and deck, and a security system. Situated at the end of a private lane, Villa Mirino's serene, intimate setting is apparent the minute you drive through the gate. Lush landscaping greets you, from the Flamboyant tree gracing the parking apron, to the enumerable flowering bushes and palm trees. A lime tree deposits fruit for your cocktails on the front doorstep. Flowering pipe cacti support the native bird population, and it is not uncommon to have a hummingbird greet you in a private moment in the garden. The villa is maintained by professional pool and housekeeping staff and guests are assisted by an experienced villa manager.
This villa is truly unique: set on the sea among private residences in renown Estate Nazareth on the south end of the island, it is a mere 5 minutes to the conveniences, fun and dining of Red Hook and the ferries to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Summary: We were a group of 9 adults vacationing. I spent a lot of time on the Island in the past & did a lot of research before selecting Villa Marino. The location was perfect, very close to Red Hook. The other main reason I chose it was the fabulous outdoor space. That’s where we spent just about all our time. The pool was perfect for cooling off, and the lounging areas - both in the sun and in the shade - are plentiful for large groups. We didn’t even use them all. The owner, Dewey, is fantastic! All of our questions were answered promptly, kindly and thoroughly. When I updated my reservation from 10 people to 9, he proactively told me we would be getting a rate reduction. The house manager Lisa is also fabulous and helped get us acquainted with the Villa and answered any question that came up during our stay. The Villa itself is THE VERY best stocked rental any of us have ever been in. From beach gear, to an honor bar (where guests use what they’d like but then leave a similar amount when they depart), to an extremely well stocked kitchen, to every type of seasoning you can imagine! Full size toiletries, TP, paper towels, trash bags, baggies, coffee filters, etc, etc. They don’t skimp and provide pretty much everything you need to enjoy a hassle free. Ask Dewey if you’re unsure what you’ll need to pack. And go by the Villa before you go shopping! If we ever are lucky enough to do another group trip to St. Thomas, we will most definitely be staying at Villa Mirino!!

Summary: This house was amazing. Very clean and wonderful to stay in for the week. Beautiful ocean view! The only suggestion would be to have a couple of extra blankets available should anyone need. Could not ask for anything more. Would highly recommend for large family or multi-family trip. Minutes from Red hook and ferries to other locations!

Summary: WOW!! I seriously cannot say enough kind words about this house. The view was absolutely jaw dropping! In fact we had brunch catered one morning and the caterers said they had visited this house a few times before and it is by far the best view on the island. The power went out a couple times while we were there (totally normal for the island) and the AC didn’t turn back on (but only once) so the owners took the time to personally speak to us and help us fix the issue. Red Hook is super close and great restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen and I mean fully! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Cozy and perfect for a family vacation… thank you villa mirino!!!!

Summary: This was our first trip to St. Thomas. Villa Mirino turned out to be the best property for us for many reasons. It had the perfect room layout for 2 families, comfortable indoor climate and beds, plenty of linens, towels, and an extremely well stocked kitchen. The pool was the perfect size to cool off and view the water, and the outdoor space was amazing with plenty of seating - covered and uncovered. We ate outside everyday. The location of the property was also perfect - close to grocery, restaurants, beautiful beaches, and the Red Hook ferry to St John and BVI. We had chairs and umbrellas to take with us to the beaches. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze and communication with our property manager was seamless. She had great recommendations for us throughout the week and got back to use with answers to questions within minutes. If we are able to come back to the island, this will definitely be a property I will see if it is available for us again.

Summary: This is by far one of the best places we've stayed in STT. The views and property were amazing and we spent the majority of our time outside on the deck and pool. Everything was perfectly described and the check-in and communication with the property manager and owner was seamless. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be back! My family LOVED it!

Summary: Perfect layout for our group of 10 (8 adults and 2 kids). It took us a week to realize our master bedroom had its own thermostat, so we slept much cooler after that. Other tips—don’t leave flip flops, cards, towels, etc out on the deck overnight; it’s a very good chance they’ll blow away. The coffee maker doesn’t have automatic shut off. The house was well stocked with basically everything. There were several condiments in the fridge and spices in the cupboard. We appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to buy toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, etc. It was also nice to be able to leave some food behind for whoever could use it since groceries are very expensive. There is no hot tub. We really enjoyed the deck and pool area, and grilled out there several times.

Summary: Wow, wonderful stay at Villa Mirino. We loved the pool and outdoor areas and spent most of our time relaxing out there. The location of the house was amazing, easy access to both Red Hook for dining and Compass point Marina. We rented two cars and it worked out perfectly. This house is just amazing with many thoughfully appointed details. Brittany helped us check in and was wonderful and gave some great tips for our stay as well. We did NOT want to leave!! Highly recommend!
