Positive: The food was great. They operate like a bed and breakfast so the food was made to order and we were able to make customizations for allergies. The host was present and really helpful. The location is on the water with a view of the Nile and the Pillae Temple. The staff at the location was helpful and friendly. We walked around the neighborhood a bit and enjoyed being in Egypt. If you walk down the foot path back to the Pillae docks you are just a few minutes walk from that market. We were comfortable and safe.
Summary: Cozy location with excellent rooms and view. Would go again.

Positive: Our host is very kind and helped us arrange the boat and taxi. Please must pick the room with river view: it is amazing!!!! Also the location is so convenient for visiting the Philae Temple: just a few minutes boat away and i can actually see it from my window

Positive: A small, cute villa overlooking the Nile River with a view of the Philae temple also. Very quiet and peaceful and away from it all The manager organised a tour for on a boat to take us around d to the Philae temple and surroundings for sunset which we really enjoyed.
Negative: The manager was not on site and we had to communicate with him via whatsapp. He was not easily contactable and he was the only english speaker in the staff. All the staff were lovelyand helpful but none of them spoke any English so it was challenging vs other hotels we had stayed at in Egypt. The food was average for what they charge and took a lengthy time to prepare. one night the food took over 2 hours to get to us even with plenty of notice. Recommend you organise a driver to take you to town to restaurants to eat as Egyptian food is amazing. . Part from that we had a great time and you cant beat the view and peace we had.

Positive: The room with a wonderful view on the Nile and Philae temple. The hotel is far from the center but is a great location to visit the temple. Also, tour drivers didn't have any problem dropping us off / picking us up there. Clean room. Friendly staff. Close to Aswan airport. The owner Ahmed who was super helpful with everything: arranging the boat trip to the temple, the taxi to the airport, giving advice, etc. We had a nice conversation around a cup of tea before leaving.
Negative: Maybe the AC could work a little better. No wifi during our stay, due to external reasons?

They were incredibly helpful, even assisting us in booking a transfer from Aswan Airport to the villa, which made our journey seamless. The villa itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views that feel like something out of a fairytale. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. We highly recommend Villa Misk to anyone visiting the area. A truly unforgettable stay with such kind and hospitable hosts!

Positive: Villa Misk is on a beautiful site of the nile. To get there is a bit adventures. The taxis did not like . From the outside does not look like a hotel. But the owner and its family was very kind, the breakfast very good. And the view amazing. So I would recommend it absolutely.
