Positive: The house is very cozy and clean, with a wonderful full view of Lake Como. It’s also very close to Bellagio center. Marzia, who welcomed us, was very kind and friendly.

Negative: I was a bit surprised by the lack of some basic amenities in the house. Essentials like hand soap in the bathroom were not provided, and we had to purchase everything ourselves (salt, pepper, oil, hand soap..etc), even for a short stay. This was a bit inconvenient, especially as grocery stores are not very easy to access nearby.

Positive: The view is the biggest selling point of the apartment. This what makes the price tag. We were welcomed and provided with the most essential information about the location. The table tennis in the basement is a great extra for free time.

Negative: Unfortunately the comfort can be significantly improved.. Biggest down point is the furniture in the living room. It is very old and rundown. Highly advise to replace it or just for the owner to try sit on it to get an impression. The kitchen is tiny that two people are already too many. The cuttlery is probably from the same age as the furniture..

Positive: Host is very friendly and the villa is amazing and well maintained. She offered us lots of help around the area as well, its 8 min to Bellagio and we enjoyed the view from the garden and the room balcony. Everything was neat and in order, we highly recommend for lake Como area. Free parking next to villa, few nearby supermarkets. We wish we can stay longer.

Negative: Everything was great, just to note that there are stairs heading to the villa so avoid having big luggage or someone with disability might be difficult to get into.

Positive: Host Marzia is amazing, very caring, polite and helpful woman. She provided us with all the info regarding the village and neighborhoods, even helped us taking us to Bellagio when it was necessary (we didn’t have car).

Negative: If you gonna stay in Limonta, rent a car. It’s a must here because the village has poor transportation capabilities
