Positive: - Very friendly staff. - The bed was comfortable and large. - Large room. - Good amount of sockets. - Large bathroom. - Breakfast is nice: Juice, hot drink and eggs with toast/noodles etc. It was not amazing, but it was nice (I think some of the comments I read made the breakfast sound out of this world, which it wasn't). - Good A/C. - Kettle, hairdryer and fridge all worked fine. - Quiet surroundings, shops and restaurants nearby.
Negative: - Bathroom door didn't close properly. - A/C leaked a lot of water so entrance to bathroom was always wet. - Mosquitoes came in the room every day, possibly through the bathroom or possibly under the door, which isn't fully sealed. I had to buy some spray. - On one occasion a guest was blasting pop music out of speakers in the early morning and the staff didn't say anything (possibly because the staff are young and he was an older white guy). - Wifi / internet was OK, but not not fantastic. Often the signal would drop out. I was doing some online work (video calls) and I had a few issues. I couldn't use data either because my SIM-based internet (Telkomsel) was also slow in this area. - I got a 45-52% discount on the regular price due to it being low season. For what I paid I was happy, but I think for full price it would have been expensive for what you get. - There wasn't really any storage other than a kind of 'shelf' next to the bed. Most of my stuff went on the floor.
