2 Bedroom Villa in Esentepe

15 Breezy Hill Villas is one of two villas (Number 5 also) that we have on a small up and coming site in a beautiful hilltop position, affording extensive views of the coast, Mediterranean and Mountain backdrop in the quaint village of Esentepe. The two villas are facing each other at opposite ends of the site's shared pool. The property benefits from only a three minute walk into the village itself. This means a car is not essential as the village has a number of Restaurants eg The Tumba, Remzi’s, Zirdelli’s, 3 minimarkets, butchers, bank, post office etc and there is a bus stop in the village giving access to the lovely harbour town of Kyrenia (approx. 25minutes away by car)and beyond. There are also a number of restaurants located at the bottom of the hill which offer a pickup and dropoff service and the food is fabulous to boot!
However, having a car would definitely enable easier access to all the delights Northern Cyprus has to offer – Kyrenia and Bellapais, Famagusta, the Roman ruins of Salamis, fabulous beaches including Turtle Beach and the wonderful golden sands on the Karpaz to name but a few….and for those who enjoy a round of Golf, the fabulous Korineum Golf Club, an 18 hole championship course, which also has a wonderful restaurant and Beach Resort is only a 10 minute drive away.
The Villa itself:-
A contemporary 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Detached villa on two floors :–
Master Bedroom upstairs with wardrobes , ensuite Bathroom with a shower over the bath. Access via patio doors onto the large upstairs terrace, benefitting from fabulous views of the sea and pool area. There is also separate access via the landing to the outside terrace.
Downstairs is a light and airy open plan kitchen/dining/living room with 3m height Patio doors giving access to the downstairs terrace which is hedged to provide some privacy.
There is another double bedroom with wardrobes (both bedrooms have hairdryers)and a separate bathroom with shower cubicle.
The villa is furnished and equipped to an excellent standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, gas hob/electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle/toaster, extensive range of glassware, crockery and utensils etc for all your culinary needs. There is an iron/ironing board and airer. Bed linen/Towels/Beach Towels/Tea Towels are provided. The lounge area and both bedrooms have air conditioning. There is a large comfortable leather sofa and the dining table seats upto eight. For entertainment there is a Flat screen TV for watching DVDs (lots of DVDs) and WIFI access. Additionally there are some games and a collection of books.
Outside – comfortable wooden and cushioned seating and coffee table on the upstairs terrace to seat four. Downstairs two sun loungers and small table. The villa has access to the site's lovely 16 x 4 metre oblong pool with 2 shallow pools suitable for young children. The main pool area is one depth and is accessed via wide steps which can also be used to sit on. It makes for a great daily swim!!
Esentepe is a fantastic base from which to explore all that Northern Cyprus has to offer, or due to the fabulous climate..... just kick back, take time out to relax and enjoy yourself in a most charming and tranquil setting!

Summary: Overall the property is in a good location to access all other areas but you need a car, which is normal. The villa decoration is a bit tired and in need of an bit of deco and we did have to clean some areas when we arrived but it wasn’t a problem. We ran out of water but neighbours were on hand to help out using pool hosed water to fill the tank as the management couldn’t get out to top up credit until the next morning. But it was good value for the location the villa was well equipped and if you’re after a relaxing holiday it’s ideal.

Summary: Lovely Villa on a small development close to the town. So there’s shops and restaurants on you’re doorstep. Everything you need for you’re holiday is in the villa. Pool is in the centre of the development. Very quiet and relaxing the whole time we were there.

Summary: You get what it says on the packet basically. The villa suited our needs perfectly. We came for a sunshine and pool holiday and that’s what we got. Currently writing this review on our last day by the pool soaking up glorious sunshine. Will definitely return. Loved the sleepy village of Esentepe as well. Everyone is nice and welcoming.

Summary: The villa is well furnished inside, kitchen and dining equipment more than adequate for the four of us. Nice welcome pack provided. The villa was clean and plenty of towels and bedding provided. A few suggestions rather than criticisms are, could do with an outdoor table and chair set for patio dining and a couple of parasols for the upstairs and downstairs patios / balconies would also be welcome. A microwave would have been good and also a small safe for passports, cards etc. Vehicle is definitely required if you wish to visit beaches, major supermarkets etc. We found vehicle hire to be very reasonable and petrol cheap. Roads are wonderfully quiet and the driving standard was good. The town of Esentepe is a few minutes walk and there is a small supermarket for basic essentials and a couple of nice restaurants serving local fare. We used Remzies for evening meals and the Esentepe restaurant for a lunchtime drink and snack. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Summary: We rented this villa in July. It was great! The villa is big enough and comfortable, has perfect location and great views. The description is exactly. The owners are very friendly, responsible and supportable, answered all our question, helped with everything. We would like to come back somewhere! And I can recommend this villa and place.

Summary: It was my first time to Northern Cyprus. The village was lovely and the people are very friendly. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful . The property was perfect for my needs and was really clean and well equipped. The village isn’t large but there are shops for provisions and supermarkets a short drive away. If you are looking to experience the real Northern Cyprus then Esentepe is great.

Summary: This is a lovely, comfortable villa. Being on a hill there is always a breeze to keep things cool. The views and sunsets are wonderful. It is very close to Esentepe village where there are restaurants, bars and supermarkets all in walking distance. I do recommend a car so you can travel further to see this beautiful part of Northern Cyprus with the harbour at Kyrenia and the wonderful beach club at Karpaz. The only things, which are our personal preference, would have been a parasol on the terrace for a welcome break from the sun for our sun downers in the early evening and a table and chairs on the patio for breakfast/lunch if we had an exploring/pool day. Karen made the whole process of booking very easy and replied to our emails very quickly. The welcome pack when we arrived at 11pm was much appreciated. Thank you for letting us use your lovely villa. We will definately be returning.

Summary: From start to finish Karen and Paul have been a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful from the outset and remained so during out stay. The villa is in a lovely little village but you are situated 3 mins from it which is very handy. Villa is ina quiet spot so lazy afternoons by the peace were so relaxing. The villa is spotless and well appointed. The layout is conducive to family life and having two bathrooms was a god send. Sure you can find other villas in the area but cannot recommend this one enough.
