5 Breezy Hill Villas is one of two villas (Number 15 also) that we have on a small up and coming site in a beautiful hilltop position, affording extensive views of the coast, Mediterranean and Mountain backdrop in the quaint village of Esentepe. The two villas are facing each other at opposite ends of the site's shared pool. The property benefits from only a three minute walk into the village itself. This means a car is not essential as the village has a number of Restaurants eg The Tumba, Remzi’s, Zirdelli’s, 3 minimarkets, butchers, bank, post office etc and there is a bus stop in the village giving access to the lovely harbour town of Kyrenia (approx. 25minutes away by car)and beyond. There are also a number of restaurants located at the bottom of the hill which offer a pickup and dropoff service and the food is fabulous to boot!
However, having a car would definitely enable easier access to all the delights Northern Cyprus has to offer – Kyrenia and Bellapais, Famagusta, the Roman ruins of Salamis, fabulous beaches including Turtle Beach and the wonderful golden sands on the Karpaz to name but a few….and for those who enjoy a round of Golf, the fabulous Korineum Golf Club, an 18 hole championship course, which also has a wonderful restaurant and Beach Resort is only a 10 minute drive away.
There is also a new Tempo Supermarket about 5 minute drive from the villa which is very well stocked.
The Villa itself:-
A contemporary 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Detached villa on two floors :–
Master Bedroom upstairs with wardrobes , ensuite Bathroom with double width walk in shower. Access via patio doors onto the large upstairs terrace, benefitting from fabulous views of the sea and pool area. There is also separate access via the landing to the outside terrace.
Downstairs is a light and airy open plan kitchen/dining/living room with 3m height Patio doors giving access to the downstairs terrace which takes you immediately onto the Pool area. There are also Patio doors off the dining area onto a Patio suitable for outside dining.
There is another double bedroom with wardrobes and twin beds (which can be put together to form a King size bed) and a separate bathroom with shower cubicle. (both bedrooms have hairdryers)
The villa is furnished and equipped to an excellent standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, Ceramic hob/electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle/toaster, extensive range of glassware, crockery and utensils etc for all your culinary needs. There is an iron/ironing board and airer. Bed linen/Towels/Beach Towels/Tea Towels are provided. The lounge area and both bedrooms have air conditioning. There is a large comfortable leather sofa and the dining table seats upto six. For entertainment there is a Flat screen TV & DVD player for watching DVDs (lots available) and WIFI access.
Outside – there are two sunloungers with cushions and a small table on the upstairs terrace. Downstairs there is a dining table with four chairs and small table. The villa has access to the site's lovely 16 x 4metre oblong pool with 2 shallow pools suitable for young children. The main pool area is one depth and is accessed via wide steps which can also be used to sit on. It makes for a great daily swim!!
Esentepe is a fantastic base from which to explore all that Northern Cyprus has to offer, or due to the fabulous climate..... just kick back, take time out to relax and enjoy yourself in a most charming and tranquil setting!

Summary: The villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. It is a very short walk up into the village with several places to eat our favorite being Chengiz. There is a supermarket in the village and a bank to exchange money. It was a little quiet as we were the only ones staying on the site but this meant we had the pool to ourselves. We had a very enjoyable holiday even though it was a little bit too hot.

Summary: Karen is lovely, easy to communicate with and responds very quick. The house is beautiful decorated, you will get the feeling your at a beach house. It's really up on a hill, so I would recommend a car to drive to all nice places in North Cyprus. It's a 4 min walk to a supermarket were you can buy fresh bread and other things. Only one pitty that the enviroment on this complex is not finished yet.

Summary: The property was very clean, well equipped with all that u could need. The pool is an excellent length, good for that needed exercise. Northern Cyprus is a lovely place to visit very reasonable to eat out, and where the villa is sited on Breezy Hill would recommend a car rental, that hill is quite steep. The village of Esentepe is very close with restaurants and a small supermarket, easy walk. Would thoroughly recommend a stay in Paul and Karen’s villa .

Summary: From first choosing and booking this villa the experience has been fantastic. Paul and Karen could not do enough for us, from giving us a contact for the organisation of car hire and transfers to and from Larnaca Airport, to ensuring that there were supplies ready for our arrival. The villa was everything we wanted: clean, spacious, and comfortable, beautifully decorated and maintained, and very well equipped. The views were stunning from the sea to the mountains. It is on a small development, but not all of the villas are occupied. The pool, which we had to ourselves for the first 6 days of our 2 week stay, was a good size and ideal for cooling down and having a swim before breakfast. If you decide to book this villa you do not need to take too many clothes as the washing machine does a fantastic job of freshening up your holiday clothes. We have stayed in many beautiful places over the years, but as of now number 5 Breezy Hill Villas is at the top of our list, so peaceful and relaxing, we really feel as though we have had a holiday. Esentepe itself is quaint and traditional, the mini markets are well stocked with friendly and helpful staff, and the bread from the bakery is to die for. The bank staff are also very helpful .There are bigger supermarkets in the surrounding area. The restaurants are good if a little limited in variation, but a smile greets you every time. The Tumba was our favourite in the village, but Sea Wise on the coast road travelling east for about a mile was also good, and a free lift there and back was a bonus. Kyrenia was a delight - very clean and, as everywhere, the people so friendly and ready to help you. A taxi ride there and back will cost you around £30 - well worth it. A car is probably essential if you wish to get out and explore Northern Cyprus. However, if you just wish to chill out and stay local, you could manage without a car. It is a good walk up a very steep hill from the coast road to the villa, (challenging in the heat), but it is an easy walk into the village, uphill for a short distance only. A draught beer is around £2 a pint. For three of us eating out, including drinks, it cost £25-£30. Paul and Karen are a delight to deal with, as is Sally the car hire lady. We will be back I am sure, it would be rude not to sample this hospitality again.
