Whilst Village View Apartment Two is set on the second floor and ideal for couples and smaller than Number One Apartment, but the views from the rear are lovely.
Located right on the main front street of Tynemouth, just perfect for a wonderful short break only a stone’s throw from the beach and many upmarket wine bars, eateries, cafés and shops in this popular seaside town. The fantastic Blue Flag beaches are a 2-minute walk away and are popular with surfers and holidaymakers. The hidden fish restaurants along the beach are a delight as is the lovely priory and walk along to either North Shields with a bustling working harbour full of restaurants, perfect for fish lovers and home to The Tall Ships Race, or the other way along to Whitley Bay where the beautiful Spanish City has been fully regenerated and has a relaxing champagne bar and events.
The promenade area that stretches this bit of coastline has all been modernised and is a gorgeous place to stroll along in the evening whatever the weather as there are plenty of places to stop off for coffee or a gin and tonic. The Priory in Tynemouth hosts some musical events and plays, dating back centuries it sits on the cliff and can be seen from further afield. Only a few hundred yards is the restored Metro Station, which is nicknamed the Covent Garden of the North, is home to a very interesting weekend indoor market popular for all ages. You can hop on a metro here to Newcastle, take in the quayside or visit a theatre, gallery, and museum or enjoy the history and shopping.
