Positive: I stayed at Villagio with my sister right after Christmas 2025. And I must say that it was the most peaceful stay of our entire Kerala trip that time. The location is easily accessible by tuk tuks (autorickshaws) from the railway station. Appu was a wonderful host. He took care of everything during our stay. Oh and the home cooked food was delicious! His suggestions on visiting places were also very helpful. The highlight of our stay was the early morning sunrise canoe ride that he arranged for us. It was a really memorable experience. We also miss Gliffy very much. Over all a wonderful peaceful stay. Would definitely stay here if I'm visiting Muroe, this hidden gem of a place again.

Positive: This place is special. Appu is an amazing host. We really enjoyed our conversations with him. He arranged bike rentals for us, an early morning canoe experience and a driver to take us to our next stop. He is a great guy. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the comings and goings of people and the birds. Walking the roads and paths nearby gave us a real sense of the interesting community on Munro Island. The people were all so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here. The food is good, the host family is exceptionally welcoming.

Positive: Appu is just the best host ever. We had such an amazing time, everything was perfect, breakfast and dinner too ! Really clean and there's everything you need. Not too far from the train station, only 4 min by tuk-tuk.

Positive: Clean Breakfast good Main meal good ( but slightly costly at 750rs for 2)

Negative: Terrace is shared with the next room Terraces overlook each other in close proximity so certainly not tranquil and private The island although having natural beauty is spoilt by relentless hawkers trying to get you to have boat trips. Making it more like a theme park than a natural wild area. Bed mattress was hard
