Positive: Lovely friendly and helpful host. The unit is private, modern and has everything you need. The bed is super comfortable! There is a fantastic outdoor area, plus a large section of private land with trees and plants and seating areas. The area around the property is beautiful, its very private and quiet. Just a 5 minute drive to Matakana village, beaches, cafes/restaurants and other places to visit are all close by.

Positive: This is a beautifully curated property with lovely considered details such as vintage cutlery, luxury towels and linen, king size beds and nice decor. The setting is picturesque, and you can hear the native birds. Our hostess was very hospitable, even giving us some organic produce from her garden to take with us. Although remote, the property is located a few mins drive from Matakana and surrounding restaurants and vineyards. Highly recommend.

Positive: Stunning place set in the most beautiful garden. The owner - Kim is super lovely and so responsive, we loved playing with Mr Miko as well and had the best stay. We stayed here with my bridal party and on the wedding night and had stunning photos with the surroundings of the house. Had everything we needed.
