Immersed in the protected naturalistic oasis of Colostrai, we have a small but welcoming house of recent construction.
It is located exactly between the famous Colostrai pond and the homonymous beach. In the pond you can admire the colony of pink flamingos, herons, knights of Italy, cormorants, etc. The oasis is accessible on foot, but also by bicycle or on horseback, and is perfect for lovers of long walks and bird watching.
The house, of about 40 square meters, is equipped with a double bedroom, bathroom, and living / kitchen area with a double sofa bed. It has a totally independent and fenced 500 sqm garden, and is also located just 300 meters from the beach.
The sea can therefore be reached comfortably on foot in just three minutes. This means being able to decide to access the beach at any time in complete freedom without using the car. So you can enjoy incredible sunrises over the sea, romantic sunsets at the end of the day, and starry nights to admire directly on the sand a few steps from home.
The ideal place to relax and rediscover the pleasure of contact with nature without sacrificing comfort.
Moving a few km you can access many other beautiful beaches of Costa rei, Porto Corallo, Villasimius.
In Muravera (8 km away) you will find everything you need for shopping, restaurants, pizzerias, hospital, shopping or even just a good ice cream.

Summary: Nice little house with a beautiful garden in a very quiet area really close to the beach and even closer to the lagoon with flamingo's! The owners are very friendly and easy to reach if you have questions. We were two adult friends and used both beds which was perfect for us. The house is small, but we were mostly outside because of the beautiful weather. And there was an amzing sunset over the lagoon on our first evening!

Summary: the house is small, but "deliziosa." it was obviously built and decorated with love, as can be seen in all of the little details. it is immaculately clean and well-equipped for anything a guest would like to do: cook, go to the beach, relax in the garden, etc. the garden, like the house, is well-maintained. the property is in a peaceful location serenaded by birdsong (although you can sometimes hear music from the nearby resort while sitting on the terrace, but it ends quite early). at night you can stretch out on a deck chair and see a sky full of stars and listen to a chorus of crickets and owls. the property is very close to a clean and low-populated beach that you can reach on foot in a few minutes and, going in the other direction, ponds where flamingos flock. it is also near other gorgeous beaches (cala sa figu is not to be missed) easily reached by car. for shopping, the city of muravera is about 20 minutes away by car. you can also buy freshly-caught fish early in the morning from the fishermen who sell near the house at reasonable prices. the owners are very kind and friendly, generous with their time and knowledge, just lovely people. in fact, we had such a pleasurable experience that it was really difficult for us to leave. grazie mille per la bella esperienza - grazie di cuore!

Summary: We loved our 10 day holiday! The location is lovely with a lake at the end of the lane with flamingos and views of mountains in the distance - amazing sunsets. The beach is only 6 minutes walk away down quiet sandy paths, past villas with interesting plants, cacti and shady pine trees. It’s an utter treat as so quiet, only busier on Sundays with picnicking families, with fine sand and amazing clear waters where you can see fish swimming. We spent time there nearly every day and then wandered back home for lunch. Although little, the house had all we needed and we loved being able to eat outside on the veranda and cooked on the bbq. The garden is watered at night so has lush grass which feels lovely in the heat and has old olive trees which attract the birds, a woodpecker used to visit daily. The house is small, immaculately kept, better for a couple and maybe one rather than two children as the extra beds are in a space off small living area. However we managed with a 12 and 22 year old. It’s the kind of place you want to be outside enjoying the weather. We visited Muravera, 20 minutes drive away very often to shop and it’s a pleasant town. It has a least 2 supermarkets, many fish shops and a super gelateria. There are plenty of other places to visit, beautiful beaches all along the coast and interesting towns but we were happy with the peace at Colostrai and had a perfect, relaxing holiday.
