Summary: We were looking for a house in Waihi so we could access various things in the area, not just the beach. For this, the house was perfect. House was very clean and tidy and well equipped. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Great wifi, good shower, good tv, a few games and jigsaws. Only downside is the outside area of the house...there is no real garden or outdoor area, or even any outdoor furniture. And no BBQ. We knew this, and this was ok as the internal house was great for what we needed and it rained for 3 days! But if you're looking for a nice outdoor area in nice weather, possibly not the place.

Summary: We booked this property on line, very easy. A day before we arrived the property manager emailed me the access of the property. We really enjoyed staying there. It is very comfortable and it had everything we needed. It was just like we were at home. The owner was very friendly. We will definitely book the same batch when we go that way.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here. The owner provided clear comms and was easy to get a hold of. The place had everything we needed and enough space for us to be comfortable. We used the bbq often and the washing machine is large so we were able to do all our washing in one go. The washing machine was a little tricky to use, but we managed to make it work. I would have given 5 stars for the overall experience except the shower ran out of hot water daily (we couldn’t figure out why, as we didn’t use much hot water) and the beds were a little uncomfortable but we were grateful for what we had. Otherwise, we had a great time. The house is in close proximity to the beach and freshwater, so you could pick which one you wanted to do. We would stay again.
