Summary: This house is located off a road that appears to be owned by a hotel. The house is directly next to warehouses and some type of linen cleaning facility. This house will not allow you to feel like your on vacation.

Summary: The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay.

Summary: First of all getting the key to the property was confusing. Second finding the property. The property was not very clean and HAD NO WORKING TV's It was so bad, we left after the first night and lost payment for the second night. would not recommend this place at all.

Summary: When we checked in there was not a clear direction of where property Was located. It is located at the end of a driveway at a laundry cleaning facility. Upon finding the house the landscaping was over grown, the house on the outside was very dirty and full of moss. There was no toilet paper at the house, no bar soap or hand soap of any kind , no dishwashing soap. There were several TVs but non had batteries in the remotes, the only tv available was a 1- dvd player in the living room. They claim there is an antenna but there was no signal on any tvs. We called to get internet password several times and left messages, the host never returned our calls. The garbage disposal was seized up, and did not work. there was no direction on what to do with garbage and no instructions on what the check process was. These things to most would basic needs, I understand things happen but with no response from the host from Saturday morning till Wednesday morning is unacceptable to me and leaves a very bad feeling about returning.

Summary: The house itself was very nice. Outside needs some work. Shrubs and plants surrounding the house are all overgrown. The kitchen is very poorly stocked. Only a couple pots and pans, no dish soap or dishwasher soap, no spices or seasonings for cooking. Also no kitchen knives. Made it very hard to cook meals. None of the antennae TVs worked. Communication was nonexistent. Never heard from the host on checking in until the afternoon before arrival and then it was just an email stating where we could pick up the key. No check in or check out instructions. Very hard to find the house. You have to drive through by a commercial laundry to find the house. It isn't seen from the highway and there is no house number sign by the highway. Won't be staying here again

Summary: Property is owned by a motel chain so you get the VBRO look with the motel experience. You have to pick the keys up from a different motel and when we did, they didnt have the keys. They were still cleaning the place and told us that when we get there the cleaners would give us the keys. When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes past check in for them to finish up and give us the keys and leave which was difficult after a long drive and antsy kids in the car. Once we were in the house, I can say its as lovely as pictured and we were comfortable. Only three complaints - 1) the floors were very dirty/sticky which is strange cus the place smelled clean. Its almost as if when the floor was washed last, the soap was left to dry instead of being mopped up. 2) there are several exterior doors (6 I believe) and all of them were left unlocked upon our arrival. Had I not thought to check all of them, we wouldve went to sleep with doors open. 3) The listing says that the property is lakeside and has a communal pool - neither is true. The lake is across the 4-lane road (house is set back into the woods a bit) and if there is a pool I imagine its the pool at one of the owned motels and were never provided instructions to access it. Tips for finding the location - Directly across from Sun Beach and Northwinds Motel (look for large green campground billboard). Take an immediate right and drive past the all industrial cleaning buildings all the way down.

Summary: Our family of mostly adults and a couple children had a wonderful stay. There was enough seating for eating and lots of room outdoors for plane and s’mores at the campfire. The bedding was comfortable and the bathrooms were adequate and well stocked. The location was nice and private for hanging our hammock. And stargazing at night. You are 1 to 2 miles away from everything needed at downtown Mackinac city very close to the ferry, hiking/biking trail and all this area offers. We couldn’t get the dishwasher to work, but that was not that big of a deal. Their washer and dryer worked great. We brought some of her own entertainment to connect to their TV living room is a little dated, but it gives you a nice cabin feel. I would recommend.
