Positive: Lovely cozy apartment offering a beautiful view, with a private terrace and a swimming pool at disposal for the guests. In a few words, a nice quiet place for a very pleasant stay. The least we can say is that we were actually well-welcomed. Francesco is a sympathetic, amicable and caring host who gladly took care of everything we could need to make us feel the most comfortable, just like we would at home. Moreover, he kindly advised us on local tips as well as nice addresses. We have appreciated a lot his dedication, without mentioning that he remained joinable at any time for any question. He even gave us the opportunity to share an authentic Neapolitan supper cooked by himself with the help of his mom, thus made of typical dishes in order to experience true local food and culture. What a fantastic evening we had ! So far so good ! The four of us were completely delighted and we will keep a wonderful memory of it. We definitely recommend Wanderlust to anyone that would want to live a great experience in Sorrento area. We will surely come back !

Positive: What a wonderful place between sorrento and positano. We had a great family time there! The house was very clean and beutyfully designed. The beds we're unbelivably comfortable. The entire place - furniture, utinsiles and what not were completly new. Francessco was attentive to our every need. The location is great, the uncomfort of the roads system is easily bypassed by having a bus station with a line to all amalfi cost towns minuts away from the house.

Positive: Wanderlust Stay – Mixed Experience in Southern Italy We recently stayed at the Wanderlust property and while there were certainly positives, our experience overall did not meet expectations—especially considering the long journey we made to get there. Pros: The apartment itself is well-equipped, with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and two toilets—an ideal layout for a small family or group. The full kitchen, with all things you need and more , comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning, and access to digital TV content were appreciated. Some very nice finishes around the living room with books and ornaments. The airport pick-up and drop-off service arranged through the host (at €100 each way) was convenient and fairly priced when compared to local taxi or Uber options. The host also recommended a couple of nearby restaurants which turned out to be good value with enjoyable food. Additionally, he offered optional extras such as a home-cooked dinner in the garden and excursions, which could appeal to some travelers.
Negative: Cons: Pick up from the airport by the host was a little difficult as, he gave us instructions where to meet but was quite confusing for first time people arriving into Sorrento , it would have been better to be waiting with our name on a board in arrivals, we would have been happy to pay for the parking and it would have made for a smoother service. The property is located in a very remote area. Unless you have a car, getting around can be challenging. Public transport is unreliable, with infrequent and overcrowded buses, while taxis are quite expensive. There is no mobile ph coverage here, only Wifi which also was not stated on the booking, and makes communication with google maps difficult and general communication. Despite being listed as private accommodation, the property is part of a larger residential complex and does not offer much in terms of privacy. The host lives directly below, and while he kindly offered use of the swimming pool, it’s located opposite his apartment, making it difficult to relax in privacy. Noise was another issue. A neighboring apartment had dogs that frequently barked, and were not friendly , another had a child who caused quite a bit of disturbance with stomping, loud music, and slamming doors at times. We also felt uncomfortable with some of the house rules and the tone in which they were delivered—for example, being told to shower off sunscreen before bed because of the impact on sheets, and being given overly detailed instructions on how to separate the rubbish. While these are understandable requests, the manner in which they were communicated felt intrusive and overly controlling. Final Thoughts: Overall, the property was not what we had hoped for. It felt more like a shared B&B experience than a private rental. The host was overly involved, which may suit some travelers, but for experienced and independent guests like us, it felt intrusive.

Positive: We stayed at Francesco's Wanderlust with our two kids in June and it was the best experience I have had travelling with my family. Francesco is an amazing host who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He took great care of us, made it very easy for us to check in and gave us the best recommendations. The apartment is beautifully renovated with comfortable beds, airy ceilings and a gorgeous view. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, walked to nearby restaurants and took the afternoon bus to Positano. We were also honoured with an invitation to Francesco's birthday dinner. This was Italian hospitality at its finest, and we cannot wait to return someday!

Positive: A tranquil hideaway with spectacular views. The apartment was well furnished with super comfy beds. Francesco was the perfect host, great communication and checking we were ok and helping with travel arrangements.
Negative: For us it was perfect. It is a bit of the beaten track but that meant it was quiet and peaceful. There is a bus stop at the end of the road and 4 restaurants in walking distance.

Positive: I can’t express enough, how good our stay was. The property is finished to a high standard, the comfiest memory foam mattresses, juice press with fresh fruit, utility room, private pool with incredible views, and garden area. Complete with a stocked fridge including a bottle of prosecco. Francesco is without a doubt, the best host you can hope to find when staying away in a property. Great communication beforehand, and available to provide assistance whenever required. We told him about a restaurant we were visiting, and on arrival we were greeted with a prosecco ‘’compliments of Francesco’’. His belief is that his guests should have the best time and he ensured this in every way he could. Location is in between Sorrento and Positano, around 15mins away from each. A handy shop and cafe at the bottom of the hill make this place a great base to get up, quick breakfast, before heading over to the various parts of the Amalfi coast. My group were all in agreement, if we were to visit the area again, Wanderlust is the only place we would stay.

Positive: One of the best properties I have stayed at during my travels. Very well equipped, comfortable beds, high quality furniture and very spacious. The garden and pool as well as the amazing view from the apartment and garden were a bonus! Francesco and Emmanuel were both very attentive and friendly, answering all queries immediately and going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They gave us wonderful advice for restaurants and hikes that we wanted to go on in the area. Met us in person to welcome us and show us around. On arrival a bottle of Prosecco and nibbles as well as fresh oranges for orange juice with our breakfast were lovely little touches and just what we needed after a long day travelling. I would strongly recommend this holiday apartment to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast and surrounding area. Easy access to all part of the coast and mountain.

Positive: Francesco was an amazing host, very thoughtful and easy to contact for advice. His house is in a peaceful location but near a bus stop for ease of visiting Positano and the Amalfi Coast.
