Summary: From the moment we arrived, the service was lovely. The receptionist Gabriella was so friendly and gave us advice on travelling in and out of London. I made the hotel aware of my partners birthday and they placed a cake and a bottle of wine in the room along with balloons and towels made out of cake. Every member of staff we came in to contact with were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely and had a fresh bottle of water and coffee and tea pods everyday. We had an uber to Wimbledon which was roughly £12 and got on the underground to get to London so getting about was easy. would 100% recommend.

Summary: Upon arrival Gabriella at reception was very welcoming and informative. She also kindly offered us a complimentary room upgrade with the added arrival of a slice of birthday cake. We felt very welcomed at the hotel. The interior was very classic with quintessential country manor decor - wood panelling, chandeliers, sage greens and wine red carpets. Very clean, no signs of deterioration. Up to our room, it was spacious, quiet with beautiful panelling and murals of birds in flora. Muted colours with accents of gold provided a calming space whilst maintaining a sense of elegance. The bathroom included a walk-in rainfall shower, good pressure and temperature. It was clean, in good condition. The gym was limited in space and equipment but you could still have full workout. Next door was a modest pool. Not a full length but enough to have a leisurely swim. Changing area was serviceable and clean but lacked lockers in the womens. Breakfast had an adequate variety of hot and cold. Coffee and tea had to be requested which was difficult when no staff were present. A coffee machine in the area would have been advantageous. The breakfast room was also hot being close to the kitchen We weren’t able to explore the grounds but the parking area and entrance to the hotel were kept well. Overall our nights visit was superb and we are looking forward to staying again in the future.

Summary: We had a very nice stay at the hotel, staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. It was our wedding anniversary and they gave us a little cake to celebrate this, very thoughtful touch. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely visit again.

Summary: The pictures don’t tell the full story. It looks grander than it is. Location is great but the room is tired. Bathroom is grubby and in need of a deep clean or renovation. Water pressure is poor. It’s OK but nothing more than that.

Summary: We chose this hotel as it was a nice one with easy access to Wimbledon. We were looking forward to having a lovely meal on the night before going to Wimbledon to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were greeted on arrival with the news that the restaurant was serving an all day menu. I’m diabetic and manage this by not eating carbohydrates. There was nothing except a salad on the menu that was not wrapped in bread or was a rice dish. Such a shame as it meant our otherwise very good stay was spoiled. We could have been told before arriving as I had booked a table , that the menu would be restricted. We were able to walk into town but the special night was ruined. The hotel room was very good and everything else was very good. Shame about the lack of communication.

Summary: Food was great and setting was beautiful. Frustrating that air conditioning and fan in my room didn’t work. Delivery van unloaded outside my window for 40 minutes at 6am, which disturbed me. Frustrating as I had an important presentation to give and needed the sleep!
