Completely unwind at this unique and tranquil piece of undiscovered paradise. Water’s Edge Guest Cottage is ideal for people who want to simply relax in nature or enjoy an adventurous week exploring Bottle Creek, North and Middle Caicos. Water’s Edge sits on 5 acres with stunning views of Bottle Creek and pathways that meander down to the water front. A two man kayak is included in the rental along with snorkel gear. Ferry runs 3-5 times daily to and from Providenciales.
The space
Water’s Edge Cottage is nestled in a 5 acre wooded lot overlooking the Bottle Creek nature reserve. The views are unobstructed and stunning.
The main villa is owner occupied but buildings are completely separate and each enjoy their own pathways down to the Bottle Creek waterfront.
Alison, will be available to assist whenever needed, but will also allow you all the privacy you need. She wont bother you during your stay unless you need anything.
The cottage has AC and is very comfortable, but it is the outdoor areas that really make the place so special. (There are rarely any mosquitos because of the wonderful ocean breeze).
You can wake up early in the morning, and wander down to the waterfront to enjoy your coffee and watch the sunrise. Go for lunch at Mudjin Harbor and enjoy a day on one of the most stunning beaches in the world. Then come home and enjoy a bbq/drinks in the evening and relax by the firepit. Or, you can visit one of the local bars or restaurants and learn what life is and used to be like on North and Middle Caicos from the welcoming and super friendly locals.

Other things to note
You need to book your ferry and car rental ahead of time. Please let me know if you need assistance doing so. The ferry runs 5 times per day to and from North Caicos, except for Sundays and bank holidays when it runs less frequently. The ferry schedule can be found online via Caribbean Cruising. Private charters are also available for drop and pick up but can be expensive. If you are doing a private boat charter, for example through Okeanos Charters, you can request a drop off on North Caicos.

Summary: We liked this property and will come back again. The only disappointments were a leaky kayak and a mattress that was too soft for our taste. However, if you prefer a soft mattress, it could be a bonus for you. Additionally, we noticed that the AC was struggling to maintain a comfortable temperature, but it was acceptable.

Summary: Alison is very helpful to get you on the island. She gave up important tips to make sure our journey is a success: groceries, transpprtation, ferry and car rental. The property is located sea front and you will know right away you are going to have a great time. The house is well equiped and is very confortable for 2 people. Location is great on the middle of the island, so it is going to be easy for you to explore the beauties of North and Middle Caicos Animal lovers and people looking for quiet and peaceful vacation near pristine beaches will love this property. Some beaches are very good for kitesurfing with steady wind and shallow waters. I would definetely go back

Summary: The picutres dont serve justice how beautiful the grounds are at this place. You have a private cabbana that looks like something out of a movie. The place is beautiful inside and out and very accomodating. We felt well taken care of and enjoyed every moment. Alison is the best host and we would 100 percent stay again. Good location to get to all the best parts of the island. If ypu domt feel like exploring for a day, just chill down at the teal blue waters at your doorstep. Incredible sunrises too. Full size kitchen and large bathroom and comfy bed!

Summary: Water's Edge Cottage is a tropical sanctuary. The cottage itself is spacious for two people to unpack and relax comfortably. However, you won't spend much time inside. The porch that overlooks Bottle Creek is a great way to start your day. Brew a cup of tea or coffee in the well-appointed kitchen and move outside to listen to the birds. You can stay here all morning, or you can head down to the private beach area. Here there are numerous seating areas to be able to enjoy the tranquility. My personal favorite was the hammock. It was a wonderful place to read a book or take a nap. If you decide to leave the property, there are various beaches you will have all to yourself. In the evening you can either have a fire on the beach or enjoy a fire pit on your porch. Water's Edge lacks for nothing. Allison was a great host. Her listing is accurate when she says she will be there if and when you need her. She was incredibly responsive and provided us information on her favorite spots on the island to check out. Her recommendations were much appreciated. Prior to our arrival she gave us information for the ferry as well how to stock up with provisions. If there was anything you needed Allison was there to help. Highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

Summary: Professional photographs could not do the cottage and views justice. From the moment that you arrive at the bottom of the driveway, you are blown away by the magnificent beauty of Bottle Creek. There is no sandy beach, which I preferred since it cut down on the sand. There are two sets of loungers and a hammock to take the best afternoon nap. Alison is the kindest spirit and her three dogs are the same. I enjoyed waking up in the morning and taking my walk to the water with Sandy. We extended our stay after waking up the first morning and will certainly be traveling. Thank you Alison!
