Summary: I stayed here for a few days with friends and their two tweens - the adults had some work to do (wedding planning!) and the kids are bottomless wells of creativity and energy, and we allll love food- Kathy's lovely family home had exactly what we needed! The kids cycled through water sports, fishing, RC boats (thank you for that!), badminton, board games and more while we adults joined for the occasional kayak. We preferred the excellent grill to the elderly electric stove for meals. The kitchen was well equipped with good pans, grill tools, anything we needed. We were met with a welcome gift of the most delicious cinnamon bread... ever? The entire place was spotless! It's an older property right on a lake, though, and i think a couple of air purifiers would help with some mustiness in a few places where even the most diligent cleaning can't reach. Beds were comfy, nights were quiet except for crickets, and it was cool enough that we could just keep the windows open for the lovely breeze. We slept well, enjoyed our days (that sunporch is a dream) and would love to stay again.

Summary: Stayed here for a few nights for a family get together with my siblings. We're all grown, but still kids at heart, so it was very fun to find this place stocked with board games and kayaks and all sorts of things to do. The hostesses, Kathy and Sue, had all sorts of helpful information in a guide book. It was very sweet, I could tell that they really cared about making us feel welcome. I feel like my family and I stayed at a home and I couldn't have asked for more!

Summary: We came up from TN for our nephew's wedding & this house was in the perfect spot for our stay. We had 1 small issue with the door lock which was addressed within minutes by Kathy. The only thing I was upset about was I forgot my fishing gear! If we ever get back to this area this will be the 1st place we look for.
