Experience summer on Clear Lake! Featured in House and Home online, Clear Lake Cottage has all the rustic charm you would want in a cottage with all the comforts of home. Clear Lake Cottage is located approx.2 hours north of Toronto. Enjoy a full long lake view from the cottage, master bedroom or waterfront dock. Canoe around the lake and see nature at its best!
The cottage as been lovingly decorated with antique barn board flooring and walls, sturdy antique furniture and Canadiana, you will feel instantly relaxed the moment you step inside. The cottage includes a fully stocked cooks kitchen and everything you could want for a wonderful cottage vacation!
Quiet mornings can be spent on the dock with a coffee listening the the resident loons. Take a paddle around the lake which is a smooth as glass. There is a large living room as well as a large recreation room on the lower level. Loads of fun for families or couples looking for peace and quiet. Lake water is warm and calm and perfect for swimming with a large sand beach for children. Great fishing on the lake or right at the end of the dock for the kids. Gift basket of local goodies is left for every renter.
Three generous bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with two twins. Mattress covers, pillows and blankets supplied. Linens and towels available upon request with a small fee for each renter.
Good size four pc bathroom on the second floor.
Clear Lake Cottage offers an outdoor dining space as well as an indoor dining space. Large outdoor fire pit with seating for campfires and roasting marshmallows!
Located 10 minutes north of Hunstville, there are ample local attractions or you can stay at the cottage and soak up the sun. South western exposure gets full sun all day and a blazing evening sunset on most nights. Very large lot with just the right mix of sun and shade, fully treed and parking for up to three cars.
Pet friendly upon approval. Linen and towel service available upon request at 25.00 per person for the duration of your stay.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at Clear Lake Cottage. It feels a bit like going back in time and staying at a long owned and loved traditional family cottage (but with A/C and wifi ;) We spent most of our time on the dock or in the water swimming, kayaking, and relaxing, and the water was a great temperature and super clean and clear. The kitchen is also well outfitted so we could make some great summer meals. Would definitely come back and recommend!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were 5 adults staying for a week. The space was great, the hiking in both Algonquin and Arrowhead was easy to reach and the table tennis table was an unexpected bonus!

Summary: Nice rustic cottage. Overall family enjoyed swimming in the clear lake and sitting on the dock. Beds were ok and great large master. It is a busy section of the lake but we expected that based on other reviews and were not bothered. There was a dog park directly in front which was an amazing surprise. There are some updates needed that would make this cottage worth the price. Owner very responsive before arrival.

Summary: We enjoyed the kayaks and the sandy beach for the 3 and 5 year old...lake setting was pretty and enjoyed swimming with the family..beds were comfortable and bedrooms cozy...the cottage space was roomy enough for the 6 of us...terry was very helpful when we forgot some items at the cottage...

Summary: Terry, you are a responsive and thoughtful host. The cottage is as described. Clear Lake is a beautiful, albeit busy lake. There were many motorboats and personal water crafts on the lake during our stay, however will still thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks.
