Positive: It's a cute comfortable place to stay . I did like the use of the communal kitchen to make food if i chose to.

Negative: I usually don't have negative things to say about the places I stay but...there is a Cafe right below the rooms that start prepping early. So you hear people talking, preparing food then one morning there was some type of entertainment. Singing and playing loud music. I'm not an early riser so this was a bit dissapointing for me. Not a lot of choices for restaurants either.

Positive: Charming, well equipped place in an old building. Roomy and comfortable.

Negative: One big issue... Loud banging especially early in the morning. Seems to be coming from swaying ceiling fans in the Cafe directly below our room. Woke us and was headache inducing. I suspect the owners can fix it, so ask....

Positive: We had breakfast in the downstairs cafe one of the mornings, which was very good. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Especially liked the park and the river that is across the street.

Negative: It would have been nice to have a small Keurig maker in the shared kitchen for an early morning or evening cup of coffee when the cafe was closed. The mattress could have been firmer. It dips in the middle with two people on it. Maybe it needs to be updated?

Summary: Excellent stay. The updated decor and amenities are awesome.

Positive: Our stay occurred over the weekend so there were ample of parkings on the street in front of the hotel. The hotel is essential a RB&B type of facility. The instructions of getting into the room are very detailed and easy to understand (from Robert Smith)
