Summary: We absolutely loved Tara's cabin in the forest! It was incredibly relaxing and the outdoor tub was such a nice touch. We had such a peaceful time and absolutely loved everything. Tara was super friendly and helpful and gave us great local recommendations. I highly recommend!!

Summary: Quiet location is the plus, yet hard to drive to and find. No Kleenex, no extra toilet paper, one breakfast for two night stay (one yogurt each and granola) coffee No indoor plumbing, outhouse only, wifi doesn’t work. Unit had one electrical plug in. Gas fireplace had nowhere to light (pilot only). This stay was a disappointing experience. 😔

Summary: This is a special place, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this unique private getaway. Loved being surrounded in trees, peaceful and beautiful. Really enjoyed using the outdoor shower, it was kind of exciting! The bed was super comfortable and room was decorated in a very artistic manner. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Summary: We had the most amazing stay at the Westover! Rejuvenating and relaxing stay, best sleep I’ve had in a long time! Amazing outdoor shower/tub and the most amazing homemade granola from Tara who was the most incredible host! We cannot say enough good things about our stay, we’d go back in a heartbeat!💓

Summary: stayed at the west over BnB for 2 nights an it was great, close enough to town but you feel so private and remote tucked away with the trees. Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic.

Summary: This property was beautiful and provided an amazing, unique experience with the outdoor bathtub under the stars with privacy and beautiful ferns and cedars all around. It is “rustic” and the outhouse can be a bit chilly for those midnight bathroom breaks, but the sleeping accommodations and breakfast were cozy, comfortable and lovely! Breakfast was yummy and Tara was super-helpful in pointing out the must-see and so things on the island. While you can walk into the village for meals from here, in November it’s dark early so it’s likely best to have a vehicle to drive out for meals (although there is a bbq, plates and utensils available). I would recommend this accommodation and experience whole-heartedly to others as a rustic, unique, peaceful retreat experience!
