The 2 bedroom house sits above the garage and has many amenities; such as heated tile flooring, toiletries, coffee station, wifi, TV, washer, dryer, kitchen with modern appliances and more. The yard has a long deck that allows for quiet walks along the lake, boarding a party barge and fishing. Additionally, a huge fenced playground for dogs. Events are not allowed without a $500 non refundable deposit. All events must be planned and approved 1 month in advance. An event is considered anything over 7 visitors. This property promotes relaxation and peace.
More info: The estate is like a small neighborhood with only 3 houses. Everyone has their own private areas and has access and views of the lake. It is extremely quiet, comfortable and safe. Sounds of nature are super relaxing. There is a floating deck for parking of boats. A huge dog playground, kennel dog beds, bowls, toys and more. Many have referred to this unique location as utopia, a slice of heaven and a destination place. There are outside propane heaters, BBQ pit and patio furniture. The pond in the front is clean and fully stocked with 3 types of fish.

Summary: We had the best time. Juanita and Leon took great care of us. Anything that might’ve came up they took care of right away. Definitely would recommend staying with them.

Summary: The property is immaculate and expansive, and the hosts were always available if needed but you truly felt like you had the place to yourself! It’s close enough to take a day trip to Natchitoches and do the Steel Magnolias tour or just sit around and relax on the beautiful property.

Summary: Our visit went well. The garage apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and all in working order. If we had more than us staying it would have been difficult with just one bathroom, particularly the location of the bathroom. It was very quiet on the property. The grounds needed attention in order to enjoy them and if I had brought my pet, I would not have left her outside. While the dog area was large and fenced it needed attention and cleaning. I would stay at their VRBO again. LS

Summary: What a nice place centrally located close to everything. Lots of additional services if desired. Nice to be able to keep your car in the garage. Juanita our host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and worry free. Excellent, we would not hesitate to visit again.

Summary: Life has taken me to 3/4 of the US in the past few years alone, and I almost exclusively go through private home rentals - this is without a doubt the best experience I’ve had with any rental. No matter what your standard is, this place will exceed it. Everything about the property is so well thought-out and exudes comfort and relaxation. Even the sheets made me feel like I was staying at a Rolls Royce of rentals. The hosts are truly incredible and I truly can’t say enough positive things about them. You can feel the good energy as soon as you arrive and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I’m within a 100 miles of this place. It’s really been such an amazing experience that I’ll make it a point to come back to stay here for years to come. I cant recommend this place enough. 10/10 and I wish I could rate it higher.
