Positive: Everything. Great set up with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hosts were great. We will definitely stay here again.
Negative: There is nothing to not like about Whispering Pines.

Positive: Excellent self-contained and self-catering accommodation for 2 couples. Delightful setting overlooking national park with Norfolk pines and birdlife. Short drive into Burnt Pine. Rental car organised by host. Enjoyed the inclusive tour of the island on our first morning. Provision of local phone was helpful.
Negative: Just a headsup that restaurants book up in advance and many are only open Thurs-Sat.

Positive: We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Whispering Pines (Cottage 3). This was our 4th visit to NI, and our accommodation was the best by far. Super comfy beds, large bedrooms and bathrooms, and EVERYTHING supplied. We even had a super picnic basket which we used several times. A great little Weber BBQ which we also used a couple of times. Stunning views around the cottage and sooo quiet. Will definitely be returning to Whispering Pines :)

Negative: The drive into the property was at the top of a steep street on a corner which was quite dangerous especially at night as there are no street lights.

Positive: Everything was organised by the owners to make our holidays enjoyable from the airport pickup, hire car, very well-equipped cottage, generous basic supplies, to the island orientation tour. The cottage was very comfortable with indoor and outdoor settings with a wonderful outlook over the national park.
Negative: These are not dislikes - just comments!! A simple coffee machine (like a Nespresso machine) would have been great but perhaps coffee supplies might be a problem. We tended to use the car in the evenings rather than walk from restaurants and cinema as there are no footpaths up to the cottages.
Summary: A relaxing 9 days, full of wonderful natural beauty and historical interest.
