Positive: The resort has lovely gardens and a restaurant. Management and Staff very helpful. I visit Vanuatu often, everyone is very welcoming.

Negative: Nothing negative for White Grass Resort. But tours offered by Resort were expensive, with many having listed experiences that weren't available or substituted. We were advised of this by White Grass staff, but some tours were not value for money- Tour of coffee processing - Not a bean to be seen and we then had to go elsewhere and buy our own hot coffee. Underwhelming and not a great tourism experience for coffee lovers. Same tour on a Friday- local handicraft market was shut and no alternatives. With a bit more thought by the Tour company, this tour could easily be improved.

Positive: Diving with Volcano Island Divers. Staff made me feel at home. Tours of the volcano and village were outstanding. And of course, going to the Kava bars with friends.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is only a couple of minutes away from the airport which is super convenient. I booked tours separately but they also offered these directly which can get you to all the key locations around the island.

Negative: There were lots of bugs and lizards around (tropical country, obviously) but they seemed to go away when you turn the lights off, so that was good.

Without her prompt answer and exact suggestion and detailed information to every question I raised, I wouldn’t have made this volcano tour realized. Thank you Matha, and your team! Positive: This beautiful resort finds the perfect balance between luxury and authenticity. It's one of the more premium options in the area but hasn't lost any charm because the architecture is still in a local style with traditional materials. The gardens are also stunning. The location is amazing. You're right on the seafront and have your own jeti that leads to a deep blue gulley in the reef where you can take yourself snorkelling. It's not the most expensive place you can stay but due to these two points I think it is the best. On top of that, the staff are so lovely, helpful and attentive. Couldn't recommend it more!
