We are 40 minutes from Granada Airport or the Port of Motril, just 35 minutes from the Grenadine or 70 minutes coast of the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, or if what you like is the Golf, Santa Clara Golf in Otura it is 25 minutes and the Golf Club of the Moriscos in Playa Granada next to Robinson Club about 35 minutes.
From our location, 12 minutes from the highway of Sierra Nevada A-44 we are practically in the center of a circle of possible points of interest a must for visitors;
Granada, with its cathedral, monuments, as Alhambra ..su unrivaled ...

But although seme tittle of self-love, to relax, enjoy and unwind, nothing like our Valley and especially our people.
For the region, and especially for my people, whose attractive addition to its wonderful people, are his views, his church, the Moorish tower of Uncle Bayo, the home of the shells, narrow streets, distributed by its three neighborhoods, laundry rooms restored old and still in use and a whole convergence of ancestral customs.
It has a great religious condition and beautiful saints, including Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno is of great value, both sculptural, as religious, are procesionados at Easter and in their August holidays
There are several walking routes in the area, almost all of them marked, with the possibility, subject, carrying them out guide and also, subject, Horse riding.
Needless to say, the restoration of the area, whether tapas, traditional or local cuisine of the environment, both at Meson or the bars of the town, like the rest of the region, in any of them will be well received, pleasantly served and of course you can taste the good traditional food.

Summary: Stayed here for four weeks in October 2024. The property had everything you could possibly need and more. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was cleaned weekly and the whole place well maintained. The outdoor area, including an outside kitchen, seating areas and garden means that in good weather it is possible to literally live outside.There is always the option for sun or shade somewhere in the garden so it suits all. Juan and Inma were never more than a phone call away and dealt with any issues promptly, although these were few and far between. The village and surrounding area are delightful. We would highly recommend a stay here and would not hesitate to return.

Summary: Juan and his wife were wonderful hosts. The house is lovely and private in a beautiful rural setting. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is there. The outside bar is a wonderful addition, especially in the peak of summer. All cooking utensils and facilities are there. There’s a lovely quaint village down the road with a couple of small supermarkets where you can find your essentials. We very much enjoyed our relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at the house. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere with great views. This is what we liked - to have as much as privacy as possible. We loved the garden, the pool and the outdoor kitchen with a second fridge and even microwave. Juan and Inma are very warm and welcoming people and helped us whenever needed. A car is mandatory to travel around. We can definitly recommend this property and we consider to come back again. Thank you again Inma & Juan!

Summary: This is a very tastefully decorated property, exceptionally well equipped. Different areas to sit during the day and evening. The host provided very good instructions on how to locate the property. When we arrived we received a warm welcome and full briefing on everything the house had to offer.

Summary: We enjoyed a 5 day stay at the property of Juan and Imna. The casa many little rooms and places to retreat if you like. We liked the outdoor kitchen and how it was equipped. The pool is not too deep and very clean. The bedrooms are under the roof and despite the warm outside temperatures the AC quickly cools the rooms to comfortable temperatures. Juan quickly responds to any question you have via email. The property is hidden from the street and is perfect getaway for anyone who likes a quite, relaxing time.

Summary: We spent a wonderful 6 weeks at Cortijo Luz de Valle. The house was very clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the various outdoor sitting areas, some of which have great views of the Lecrín Valley. We also enjoyed the grapes and the almonds which were ripe during our stay. The best part is that you have total privacy on the property and no close neighbors. Our host Juan installed a pool cover, so the pool stayed very warm throughout our stay. He and his wife Inma prepared an outstanding paella for us, and they also brought delicious tapas. We cannot thank them enough. The Lecrín Valley has lots of hiking trails, and if that is not enough there are hundreds of miles of hiking trails in nearby Los Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada. The coast is only 45 minutes away, and you can find great snorkeling around the rocks at Playa La Rijana and at El Peñon in Salobreña. Summary: Nice place with beautiful view of the entire Valle de Lecrin, close to Granada city and the beach in the other direction. The place is fabulous, newly made and with all the necessary comforts such as WI FI and air conditioning. Definitely a place worth visiting; you will find peace here a great place to relax and hear only the sound of nature. Our hosts were warm friendly people and even though they did not catch all the English our communication was perfect in all matters, very nice people! I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to run a different, special experience.

Summary: This place is just wonderful!! We went on a family visit to Spain looking for a quiet place to relax and spend a calm happy vacation and Cortijo Luz del Valle was spot on. The smart villa is in the region of “Valle de Lecrin” and when you are there it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time it is close to everything. We were there in the month of June and just could not have had a better time; the villa is right next to the main road connecting to Granada so we were able to spend our spare time in the beautiful city as well as visit the majestic and breathtaking Alhambra palace. The location was special, the place was at the foot of many large hills which the owner told me, and where normally snowy at the top, to add onto this the beach was just about 40min away by car so we had snow and coast within an hour’s distance! We had a great time at the villa, it is fully equipped with everything that anyone might need for a comfortable living (bedsheets, cutlery, towels…) and was very spacious for our entire family. The house a simple relaxing place which at the same time included things such as WI FI and air conditioning, all was in perfect harmony and allowed you to carry out your normal daily chores as well as enjoy the vacation. The evenings where the best part when it was just you, your pc, and nature… My last mention goes to the owners with whom we made a great relationship, they are fantastic people willing to help in anything that they can and always trying to provide us the top stay that we had. Thank you very much for everything, we will definitely be back!
