Positive: I loved that it was remote and in the trees and it was soooo quiet at night and during the day. Loved everything about this home.
Negative: I have to say everything was well kept and the property owner was very responsive to our needs during our stay.

Negative: People kept showing up to the house unannounced. The first day someone stopped by saying they needed to switch the laundry. The next day two men drove to the house turned around and left. The 3rd day two men in a box truck came and parked. They were in the garage area for a while. They were there for at least a half an hour. We left shortly after instead of staying our last day. We were very uncomfortable.
Summary: Nice house and location. Didn’t like the extra guests

Positive: Plenty of space, great location, plenty of room to bring multiple trailers/off road rigs. Everything was clean and organized, wifi worked great. Showers were surprisingly amazing, wasn't expecting lots of hot water and water pressure, definitely nice after getting dirty all day.
Negative: A heads up on the big gravel hill leading to the cabin would've been nice, had to unload my 4wd truck and shuttle others trailers that couldn't make it up. Letting people know to park a trailer at the general store if it's not 4wd pulling it would be nice. But not that big of a deal (we're there for offroad challenges so not like we weren't having fun figuring it out) Also, kitchen knives are beyond dull, just fyi

Positive: The location was ideal for enjoying Windrock Park and being close to other friends in local campgrounds. We loved the cabin--especially the back deck, having lots of parking, and the privacy of the location. The inside of the cabin is modern and spacious.
Negative: While we understand that it has to be done sometime, we did not enjoy having the owner working on the lower level of the cabin for a couple of days while we were there. Because we did not receive the entry code the day before our arrival, we struggled to get the code as we approached the cabin due to poor cell service from Verizon in that area. The owner provided some additional towels when asked, but it would have been nice to have them ahead of time, along with some additional dishwasher pods, trash bags, and toilet paper. We would also recommend a larger outdoor receptacle for trash.
Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our time at Windrock Ridge Cabin and would stay there again.
