Summary: I’m not normally one to write a review but after such a wonderful holiday I feel compelled to share our experience! I currently live in France and we wanted to have a big family holiday together with our relatives from the UK and as our own house isn’t nearly big enough we decided to rent some holiday cottages together. La Cour was everything and more than we had hoped for. We stayed in Jasmine Cottage, Wisteria Barn and Woodland View Barn. Each of the properties were so very special, each has been tastefully renovated, really well-presented, very comfortable for our large group and spotlessly clean. They are all really well-equipped and offer everything needed for a family holiday, they were a perfect base for our stay. Maria and Tony have made such a good job or thinking of all the things you need. The gardens were amazing with pergolas and plenty of space for the children run around and play. The bikes were such a lovely addition, we spent a couple of days as a family on the bikes meandering around the lanes and we particularly loved the path alongside the river. The glorious weather meant lots of time at the lovely swimming lakes as well as the outdoor pools which the children loved. The area is lovely with so much to do, we did not have nearly enough time to explore everything. Thankyou Maria and Tony you were the perfect hosts, very warm and welcoming. We will certainly be back and definitely for 2 weeks next time!

Summary: We booked a last minute holiday in Wisteria Barn this Autumn and so glad we did! The barn is beautifully presented and had everything and more we could have wished for for our stay. We loved the garden and even managed to have some evening BBQ’S with the glorious weather we had. Our children loved the bikes and used them every day riding around the quiet lanes. All in all a perfect holiday – many thanks to Tony and Maria.

Summary: A wonderful, relaxing holiday with many happy memories. Wisteria Barn was everything we hoped for for our family holiday. The barn was really comfortable, spotlessly clean, spacious, well furnished and equipped. It was perfect for our young children, there was plenty of space for them to play both indoors and outdoors in our own lovely private garden. The location is excellent, ideal for exploring this beautiful part of France. The village is very quaint and the boulangerie was great for croissants in the morning. Our family particularly enjoyed the bicycles, we loved being able to go out as a family with our youngest on one of the child seats provided and peddle along the quiet lanes and river. Maria and Tony were excellent hosts, always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. We would recommend Wisteria Barn without hesitation and are very much looking forward to returning soon.

Summary: Our second visit to La Cour and this time Wisteria Barn. A beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage which is very well equipped and we would highly recommend. We love this area, so much to see and do and the cottage is in an ideal situation to reach everything. There is lots of information in the cottage with advice on best places to visit which is always a real help. We spent many wonderful evenings relaxing in the garden listening to the birds. Maria and Tony were as welcoming as ever. We will hopefully return soon!
