Summary: We enjoyed a marvellous stay in Woodland View Barn. This is such a beautiful area of France with too much to explore in the time we had. The accommodation was excellent, very well presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We wiled away many hours on the fabulous balcony, enjoying croissants for breakfast, lounging around reading books, listening to the birds and taking in the starry night skies. It was a joy to wander into the local village for our bread and croissants in the mornings. We even managed a few short cycle rides (despite getting on in years!) to the beautiful river on the bikes supplied. We had a superb holiday and will be recommending it to all our family and friends. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and we very much hope to return soon.

Summary: I’m not normally one to write a review but after such a wonderful holiday I feel compelled to share our experience! I currently live in France and we wanted to have a big family holiday together with our relatives from the UK and as our own house isn’t nearly big enough we decided to rent some holiday cottages together. La Cour was everything and more than we had hoped for. We stayed in Jasmine Cottage, Wisteria Barn and Woodland View Barn. Each of the properties were so very special, each has been tastefully renovated, really well-presented, very comfortable for our large group and spotlessly clean. They are all really well-equipped and offer everything needed for a family holiday, they were a perfect base for our stay. Maria and Tony have made such a good job or thinking of all the things you need. The gardens were amazing with pergolas and plenty of space for the children run around and play. The bikes were such a lovely addition, we spent a couple of days as a family on the bikes meandering around the lanes and we particularly loved the path alongside the river. The glorious weather meant lots of time at the lovely swimming lakes as well as the outdoor pools which the children loved. The area is lovely with so much to do, we did not have nearly enough time to explore everything. Thankyou Maria and Tony you were the perfect hosts, very warm and welcoming. We will certainly be back and definitely for 2 weeks next time!

Summary: Spotlessly clean and excellent facilities. The gite is set in beautiful countryside and yet close to a small village so does not feel isolated, very peaceful. Plenty to do in surrounding areas for all ages . Hosts very welcoming but not intrusive. Each gite has own private garden and facilities. Would highly recommend.

Summary: Beautifully furnished and equipped accommodation. Very comfortable and spotlesslessly clean. The attention to detail was amazing. The quality of information prior to and on arrival, was accurate and excellent. Tony & Maria were wonderful hosts, always available but never intrusive. Would highly reccommend this accommodation to everyone. It is suitable for all age groups, couples and and families with children. The large private garden was much appreciated too. We look forward to returning!

Summary: We stayed for a week at Valley view barn and we loved every minute of our stay, the accommodation is spotlessly clean , plenty of room for the family, well equipped even has a dishwasher a definite bonus.very comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms, one family bathroom with bath and shower and two ensuites , Maria and Tony the English owners are there to welcome you with excellent knowledge of the area.the hamlet of paimbu is very pretty and quant , this is our third stay at valley view and we will definitely be coming back. The bikes all sizes are kept in excellent condition even a trailer so we could tow our three year old who is disabled, she was delighted to have her go to seat and could have the experience of a bike ride, this is almost impossible in the UK as roads so busy, but here hardly any traffic and beautiful bike rides to the nearby river and villages. The large private sunny garden is a bonus with lawned area and huge table under shade for those relaxing lunches , and in evening the decking is ideal for evening sun while enjoying a glass of wine. A fabulous relaxing stay with lots of local attractions Maria and Tony have many easy to reference books with suggestions of day trips . Paimbu is a great find and Maria and Tony are excellent hosts comes highly recommended .

Summary: Valley view barn was exactly as described on the website, the standard of the accommodation was high and exceptionally clean. The barn was well equipped for 10 people. The barn was easily accessible downstairs for our daughter who uses a wheelchair. The hosts were very pleasant and amenable, they were very helpful and responded immediately to our requests for information or help with the practicalities of the barn (I.e when we needed a bulb changing in our daughters bedroom). The hosts provided useful written information about local attractions & places to visits and also came to discuss these with us as we had to consider accessibility as our daughter uses a wheelchair. Valley View Barn offers comfortable family accommodation, with beautiful scenery and an experience of traditional French village life. We would recommend Valley View Barn to friends and relatives with no hesitation. There were a selection of peddle bikes to use to explore the local villages and places of interest. There are bikes of all sizes which is excellent. We cannot speak highly enough of Valley View Barn and the hosts.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Valley View Barn this summer where the owners were very welcoming and helpful. As a group of two families with younger and older children, the barn offered great accommodation to suit our needs. We loved the big raised deck and have lots of memories of taking in the incredible night skies with a glass of wine. The barn was very clean and well-presented, with everything on hand that we could have needed. The huge garden was perfect for outdoor games for the whole group. We made great use of the free bikes, enjoying trips out along the river and around the quiet country lanes. Our morning trips to the boulangerie on the bikes were a highlight, the local village being only a short walk or cycle. The children loved the lakes with beaches which were very safe. There are certainly plenty of things to do and see in this lovely area. We would love to return and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this property to others.

Summary: Fantastic property everything was perfect. The area was beautiful the owners accommodating and helpful. On taking the property over it was very clean and well equipped. Bike's are provided free of charge but a car is desirable to see further afield. This area of Brittany is very picturesque. Four adults stayed in this property and was very spacious and comfortable. I cant fault this property even the weather was great.,
