Escape to this wooden oasis for your next family vacation! With 8 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, and multiple living spaces this home has room for everyone! Elegant and thoughtful décor decorates the walls and tables throughout the home inviting its guest to admire and appreciate all that it has to offer. Whether you want to spend you time indoors or outdoors, you’ll never run out of things to do in this spectacular home! Outside the home you can soak either of the 2 hot tubs, hang out on the expansive deck with an abundance of seating for dining and lounging, or playing basketball in the driveway. Inside the fun doesn’t end - take a dip in the private heated indoor pool (which also has it’s own lounge area) or hang out in the lower level recreational room with a football table, pool table and a the theater room where you can watch one of your favorite films. When you do decide to live the home, more outdoor fun, like the four-season Wisp Resort and Deep Creek Lake State Park as well as local restaurants are just a short drive away!

Summary: Woodland Chalet was everything listed in the description. Our family had a wonderul time - deer ran across the lot and we especially enjoyed the walks to the lake that was frozen over- that was a treat to see. House had loads of spaces for family to gather and then also to spread out. Hot tubs were great and pool was excellent - just a note that they are separate spaces for anyone looking for jumping into the pool and then jumping into the hot tub type of fun. But they were both lovely and in good shape - both were serviced on our trip. The basement/game area was huge, kids had no problem entertaining themselves. The movie theatre room was great, but the chairs themselves were not as comfortable as you expect in a movie theatre and didn't lend itself to everyone gathering to watch as you would hope for. Would recommend the owners upgrade those seats with two couches or with recliners -would really be more useful. Kitchen was huge, the pots/pans could use some upgrades but there was more than enough of everything for cooking and service. However, needs additional silverware as it says it accomodates 20 but there were not 20 spoons, and once a meal was servced, immediately needed to use the 1 dishwasher. Oddly enough - no wine glasses but martini and shot glasses! Would recommend the owners add some more silverware and do an inventory of the dishes/glasses. Home is tastefully decorated, but the carpets could use a refresh. Great home with a few notes to improve even more.

Summary: We stayed for the weekend and though the online description accuracy matched the description, some of the amenities inside the house were not upto the mark. 1. We were informed couple of days prior to check in that the main stove top was broken and we had to use the lower level stove top. But there was no utensils or any kitchenware on the lower level. We had to carry every item ourselves. The property management could have kept some basic items in the lower level given they knew the kitchen in main level was unusable. 2. Both the Propane gas grills were not cleaned and they had mold growing making them unusable to grill. 3. The cleaning crew could have done a better job with the clean up. Apart from this, the house had everything as shared in the description. We had a great time.

Summary: The inside of the property was clean. However, the decks surrounding the property could use some TLC. We felt like there were a lot of cobb webs and debri. We had 6 couples in our group and it was very spacious for our group size. The home was beautiful and the pool was perfect!

Summary: The house was amazing. It was very spacious. The pictures we viewed when selecting the home was nice but the home itself was much nicer. The only issue with staying in the home was the check-in time was too late and the check-out time was too early.

Summary: The property was well maintained. Only a couple issues but not a deal breaker. A broken draw, & soap dispenser, minor problem. No lock on master suite bedroom door. Overall very clean & cozy. I would recommend to a friend. Great for families. Enough room for everyone.

Summary: While upper interior of chalet was very clean as depicted, the property exterior amenities and areas were filthy and unusable and lower level stank of dirt, mildew and mold. Could not use downstairs bedrooms, theater room nor pool and foosball tables because of the odor and filthy carpeting.
