Summary: The rental had several positives that made it a good choice for a ski trip. The location was excellent, with close proximity to the shuttle for easy access to the slopes. The layout was practical, with space for four people, a small mudroom to store gear, and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Being down a flight of stairs wasn’t an issue for us and even added a bit of privacy. There were, however, a few issues to note. One of the bedrooms had a musty smell, and we found a few stains on the sheets, along with a blood spot under the pillowcase on one of the pillows. The pillows themselves were also very flat, which made sleeping less comfortable. Additionally, the bedroom heaters were difficult to figure out, so we couldn’t get them working. Communication with the host was also a challenge, as they did not respond to our request to check in slightly earlier. Overall, this is a great option if you’re just looking to ski and need somewhere affordable. The rental’s convenient location and functional setup worked well for a short trip. Addressing the cleanliness and communication issues would make this a more enjoyable stay.

Summary: It was in a nice, central location which was good for our different activities all over the state. It was set up well for our family with 3 kids (we brought a pack & play for the baby). The kitchen was well stocked. The host was accommodating and responsive. It was not as clean as I expected based on past reviews - the carpet was dirty, the water in the baths/toilets was a pale yellow, and the blinds were beat up/falling off the windows. However, we still overall enjoyed our stay!
