Positive: Nice location and very nice rooms with a lot of beautiful wood work. Pleasant staff but basically no English. However helpful with the use of translators. The onsen was excellent.

Negative: The kaiseki dinner and the breakfast buffet were more than usually unappetizing for the western taste of my picky eater wife and friend, (and even myself who generally enjoys it.) However I surmise that it would be good for Japanese guests .

Summary: Nice place, lovely rooms, friendly helpful staff with minimal english and no western menu options

Positive: The shuttle bus to and from the station was really easy. Multiple onsen to choose from. The reception staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast buffet.

Negative: If our waiter had stayed with us the whole meal. He left half way through and so it felt we weren't being served.

Summary: Great onsen stay to end our holiday in Japan

Positive: Very traditional, we were the only foreigners there. Staff were amazingly helpful and the facilities are outstanding. Highly recommend if you want some high class relaxation.
