Soak up the fun with our holiday home. Right on the popular Surfside Beach TX with it’s own private beach walkway. Sandy fun a few steps away. No roads to cross, no travel to get to the sand. Unbeatable views of the gulf, and an unbeatable location, directly on the beach.
Our home named after the Greek God, Zeus, is a self contained 2 bedroom unit, 2 level unit. Sleeps 6 with 2 bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen that allows safe, contained, cooking on the premises with a meal nook that overlooks the bay.
Multiple decks with a view of the ocean. There is also a picnic table and chairs for spending time listening to the waves. A few steps from the beach, perfect for preparing lunch & snacks for the family, and having access to a bathroom - very important for little kids.
Complimentary wifi. Complimentary parking, including one undercover parking space, and an open air parking area. This is an elevated home, and is accessed via exterior stairs.
Enjoy your days playing in the waves, eating at local restaurants, fishing, and exploring the nearby wildlife refuges. Within driving distance to Galveston.
COVID-19 Notice: This home is professionally cleaned with products approved for use against COVID-19, and we offer a contactless check-in.
Living Room - Has a large flat screen TV and plenty of relaxing room. Natural sunlight and laminate wood-like flooring. There are 2 large flatscreen TV’s - equipped with Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu On Demand, and Hulu Live TV.
Kitchen - Fully equipped kitchen with quartz counters. Equipped with a coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, cooking range, microwave, and fridge. We also have a washing machine and dryer for you to use in the home.
Dining Nook - Seats 6 overlooking the bay.
Sleeping areas - Main bedroom with a queen bed, flatscreen TV, private deck, and a view of the ocean. 2nd bedroom - full size bunk beds. Sofa bed downstairs. Sleeps 8.
Bathrooms - 2 bathrooms.
Perks - Washer/dryer, central heating, linens & towels provided. Individual BBQ’s and extra picnic tables are at ground level. There is a private outdoor shower to wash those sandy feet after playing on the beach.

No smoking inside, no parties or events.
Our pet fee is $75.00 for small pets and all pets must be approved.

Summary: We liked the property. The balcony view is really good. Going up and down the stairs is great exercise. Paul answered our questions very fast and he was very helpful. We will be back for the summer

Summary: Beds were mattresses on plywood (very firm). Gate on shared boardwalk (5 units) was locked and would not open, but lock was removed shortly after reported. Some angel (landlord or previous guest) let stuff to make coffee, that was so appreciated. Beach was very crowed at the beach access, a lot cars started showing early in the morning and taking up prime beach spots for the entire day. Bring bug spray, if the wind stops, mosquitoes get really bad. This does not happen often, but when it does you need to be prepared. Welcome to the coast.

Summary: "Beachfront" is not accurate. There were two units in this complex closer to the beach so there was not an unobstructed view of the Gulf from Zeus. So to get to the beach, you have to go down one flight of stairs and then back up to avoid those other two units. There were a couple of items which led us to question the diligence of the cleaning process. The trash in the upstairs bathroom had not been emptied; there were items in the freezer from prior guests; the traps in the dryer and A/C filter in stairwell had not been emptied in a very long time; the counters had not been completely wiped clean in the corners; we saw a couple of giant cockroaches. On the plus side, the fridge and the AC worked. The covered parking was a pleasant surprise. The upper deck (photo #9) was a good sitting spot for morning coffee. So overall, an adequate rental but not one we are likely to return to.

Summary: We took our two little ones and two older teens on vacation. The location was perfect for everyday beach play! We were able to set up our spot and was close enough to leave our things when the kids needed to nap and see it from the house. Any questions we had Paul was quick to answer. Everything besides the cooking utensils/pots/pans/coffee maker were as clean as can be expected with all the sand around. You will definitely need to bring your own trash bags/ cleaning supplies if you stay for more then a few days! We will definitely want to stay if we come back this way again!

Summary: All my questions To Paul were met with very short answers. The cookwares teflon was all peeled except the the little that was still peeling. I had a wheelchair bound adult. There was a gate access that would have been very easily accessed to allow her to go to the beach without having to be helped downstairs. It was locked and it made the whole trip difficult. I asked several times for the key which he mistakenly said was in the house key ring. Then came back and said no, that was another’s area and couldn’t have access to it. There was a fenced off area that separates the others and my area. The people were fine with it but it didn’t happen. The A/C didn’t cool downstairs and by afternoon was hot. There were plumbing issues with the downstairs bath that made it stink really bad. Paul said he wasn’t aware of issues but there was a plunger stuffed in the trash can with a chain that goes in the back of the toilet. When u used the easing machine the sink in the downstairs bath was gurgling. I Lost all trust in this person and place. I left a day early because I was so disapointed! I even messaged Paul explaining how everything was...he did respond apologetic but it was too late. And...never have I experienced renting a property for 3 nights, 6 people and only be supplied one trash bag.

Summary: There were some issues with some trash being left in drawers which freaked me out a bit but we moved on and the rest of the trip was great. We didn’t spend much time in the house other than sleeping but we enjoyed the trip it was very much needed for all of us. Paul was very quick to reply with any questions we had.
