Positive: We had the most wonderful stay at Zrinka House with Barbara and Zrinka. The welcoming cake and drinks were a perfect start to our 2 night stay. The property is located only a short drive away from entrance 1 to Plitvice to make the most of an early start in the park. Barbara encouraged us to make sandwiches and take homemade cake with us, not just for our day in Plitvice but also the next morning as we continued our journey. The room was beautiful and a spacious bathroom was a rarity on our trip so far. There are a few restaurants that are walking distance for an evening meal too. A very memorable stay - thank you Zrinka and Barbara.

Positive: Everything! From the moment we arrived after a 7 hour drive to a warm welcome from Barbara, to the invitation to pop by next time we’re in the area, it was perfect. Zrinka and her family have created a beautiful, relaxing place to stay.
Negative: Nothing, it was all fabulous.

Positive: This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Plitvice Lakes . You will be family ! Greeted at the door with homemade pastry. She reviewed our park tickets that we had bought online because of her recommendation. Breakfast was excellent. She gave us sacks to make lunches with the breakfast offerings so we wouldn't have to buy lunch in the park. I can't say enough positive thoughts !
Negative: Only if we could have stayed longer.

Positive: Amazing hospitality by Zrinka and her daughter, they really set the standard. Our room was so comfortable with most importantly a comfortable bed with a top sheet, which we didn't find the norm for Croatia which usually runs to extremely hard, inflexible mattresses. Breakfast was delicious, and they leave small wax bags on the table so you can use the bread, meats and cheese to make yourself a complimentary lunch at the falls along with cookies and fruit. Zrinka made great dinner recommendations including a simple grilled food restaurant on the next street (Tina's House) where you got an abundance for freshly grilled meats with grilled veggies and fries for a low price. She also gave us great tips for the park including how to change the time on your pre-purchased tickets. They allowed us to check in early, offered tea and sweets in the afternoon and just went out of their way to make you feel welcome. 10 minute drive to entrance A. Even though there were only two of us we got the apartment which had a small kitchen, living room, and big deck with great view.
Negative: not a thing, exceeded expectations.

Positive: We want to give this place 12 instead of 10. From arrival the super friendly hosts went above and beyond. Lavish decor in the house and the apartment. Super clean, large room, and parking on site. Short drive to Plitvice National Park. The included breakfast was fantastic with additional items to make sandwiches for later on. Home cooked cakes etc. We can't rate Zrinka House highly enough !!
Negative: Impossible not to love it.
Summary: The BEST place to stay when visiting Plitvice Park.

Positive: If you could capture "perfect hospitality" in one place, this is it. What lovely hosts Barbara and Zrinka are! Their pride and attention to detail in their service is mind blowing! Their helpfulness in places to eat, visit etc was much appreciated. Everything is perfection, cleanliness, temperature, aroma of defusers throughout the immaculately presented residence. This accommodation was specifically built for a homely, yet professional stay and the generous offer of bags to pack a lunch for the day is a wonderful ideal and so helpful. I cannot gush enough about how wonderful our stay was 💖
