Positive: I loved everything! Where shall I begin... Zygi is an amazing place if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle in the best sort of way. I found it easy even if not coming by car. 5 buses a day from Larnaca, passing the airport. A few well sorted supermarkets (the genuine kind of supermarket) so you will manage. If you come by car there is a wider variety near by. A small bakery. Works perfect. The apartment. Just perfect! It is not totally refurbished but lovely and well functioning. Clean! Super comfy bed and crisp lovely sheets!! I stayed alone but easy to be 2-4 people in there. Balcony with sunrise (to die for) and overlooking the marina. It is literally on your doorstep. I had blinds down but windows open at night - loved to hear the commotion when the fishermen arrived early morning. I managed to find the one fisherman who sells directly off the boat (look for the black car far right in the marina). Nice catch!! Local beach is basically 90 secs walk and is absolute serene! Sandy beach, not too shallow (but a few meters so you can bring kids), 100 meters long, well kept by really friendly local team, a sunbed costs moderate 2,5 euros. Boards and boats to lease. Barriers, so good to go in even on a windy day. WiFi in apartment worked like a clock. I would consider going here a bit off season to work remotely. Of course, Zigy is a locally famous place for its fish restaurants, a lot to explore! And, communication regarding the apartment was amazing! Friendly, accommodating and forthcoming. If you choose to book you should treat this as if you had booked with a family friend.

Negative: I loved everything but be aware this is not a supermodern building. The apartment is well kept but you cannot expect for instance a massive water pressure in the shower. But then again, you are not choosing to go to Zygi to prep for a gala party every night....
