Summary: The property was priced lower and seemed like a good value for a family. The owner got back to me within a few hours to answer my questions before booking. The house featured a nice sun porch, living room and backyard patio for seating. The kids enjoyed the yard and the loft with a TV and Roku. The living room TV didn't seem to have Roku set up. Although the house has some imperfections (floors are uneven and doors aren't quite square), it was a great value and we enjoyed our stay. It is around 12 blocks from the north end of the beach, so it's a bike ride or golf cart trip to get to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and it's on a side street that doesn't directly intersect with the main highway, so traffic is much less on this street. While we were there, the jellyfish swarmed the beach (which happens seasonally) and then on Monday the military base upriver was firing off ammunition which sounded like nearby bombs going off (also a semi-regular occurrence from what I understand). All in all, it met our needs for the weekend and the host allowed us to check in early and check out late. We bought laundry detergent because there was none left in the laundry room, and we also bought a few toiletries from the local family dollar store. Thank you for a nice property, and we will refer this property to friends and family.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here. Robin was gracious enough to let us enter the house early. We love old houses and this one was adorable with all its little quirks. The bed I slept in was comfortable however the ones who slept on the inflatable mattresses were a little stiff and sore. The kids loved that there were bikes available for them to ride downtown and to the water. The house is close to the water for viewing but a short drive or bike ride to the beach. We would definitely stay here again! We were a little disappointed that the beach parking was so expensive. We also didn't realize that August was jellyfish season. There were a lot of them especially later in the day. We were still able to enjoy a whole day playing in the sand and the water. Thank you Robin for a great place to stay close to the beach. Would love to rent this again next year!!
