Summary: This was our first time to Colonial Beach. The neighborhood is great and we took many walks with our pup. We were able to walk many places to get food/coffee. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. The place has the normal wear and tear of a rental and the host asked us to text with any issues/or possible repairs which was great. .

Summary: The highlight of the house is the little private beach and semi-private dock. The dock is a nice size and feels really sturdy. You can also see the water from the deck and get some breezes coming off the river. The location is really close to the little downtown area so you can pretty much walk anywhere. The house looks recently remodeled and very clean. The kitchen had modern appliances and plenty of counter room for cooking. Perfect size for a couple of adults or a family. The owner is very helpful and we had no issues during our stay. We will be back for sure!

Summary: Cute little house in a nice quiet neighborhood. The private beach area was perfect for taking our dog into the water, and we appreciate how the town was so pet friendly . Loved the quaintness of the area, how friendly everyone was, and the ease of getting around in the golf cart. The owner is very communicative and provided us with a smooth process throughout. An overall enjoyable and relaxing experience…we would stay here again!

Summary: Property was clean and exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed walking everywhere - to restaurants, the public beach, sweet local neighborhood. Bonus bird viewing (in May) with the pair of osprey nested by the water, feeding their babies. Very relaxing visit. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Colonial Beach.
