Rackett Enterprise LLC was started in 2006 with the encouragement of our parents, Bill & Jean Marie Rackett. There are 9 children in our family between the ages of 65 and 48. Our goal is to remain a close knit family in our later years of life. Mom and Dad always provided us with opportunities to get together for the holidays, vacations, picnics and sleepovers so their 9 children, 29 grandchildren and 31 great- grandchildren would be able to spend time together. By starting this business, our parents knew we would have a meeting each year so we would never lose our family connection when they were no longer with us. In February, 2014 our dad went to heaven to be with his wife of 60 years. We have a beautiful historic home in Lebanon, Ohio where we grew up and have wonderful memories. Now, the dilemma is: What do we do with this 5 bedroom home?
Our business would like to provide families, business men or women or couples a “HOME AWAY FROM HOME” in historic Lebanon, Ohio. We would like to make your stay when you travel as comfortable as possible. No more hotel rooms! No more living out of a suitcase! No more being cramped or having noisy people next to you because now you have a WHOLE HOUSE and not just a room.
Our home is very spacious (as you can imagine with 9 children). You will have a living room, family room, closed in porch, large kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook, one and half bathrooms, patio, beautifully landscaped back yard and 5 bedrooms to choose from. It also is on the historic register in Lebanon, Ohio.

The location of our home is perfect for vacations. We are 2 blocks from the historic Golden Lamb. Lebanon is known for its “antiques” and if you want to spend a day “antiquing”, we are 15 minutes from Waynesville, Ohio, the antique capital of Ohio. A few other highlights close by are a park, tennis courts, golf course, walking distance to the quaint downtown and a train at the end of the street for tourists to enjoy. Summary: We enjoyed stay at this home with eight family members while visiting other family in the area and also while visiting Kings Island. The location of this property was ideal for us. Walked to breakfast and coffee shops in the mornings.

Summary: The house worked out great for our group of 8 - lots of room (and rooms!), great front porch to sit and relax on, great neighborhood for walking. We didn't do much cooking, but there was plenty of kitchen items to use if we had wanted to....thanks so much!

Summary: The home was perfect for us. We loved it is walking distance to downtown Lebanon (Golden Lamb), the charm and space in the home was perfect. Maryann was super friendly, even called me to tell me about the baby birds in the nests, so we could enjoy watching them. I’d highly recommend.

Summary: We needed space for immediate and extended family in order to attend & celebrate a graduation. I happened upon the 1808 Carriage House & it did not disappoint. Although the weather was intermittently rainy throughout our stay, we had more than enough room for everyone and our whirlwind weekend was a success. Highly recommended.

Summary: We are a group of women campers who met from all over Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania for a Christmas event at the Golden Lamb. The house was big and accommodated 8 of us with all separate beds. We did share some rooms. The house was very nicely decorated both normally and for the holidays. We liked reading about its history. There was even a piano player in our group so piano was an extra bonus. We had an excellent stay!!
