Summary: Renter communication was great all the time, very responsive and friendly. In regards to the Room, it was relatively clean. An strong smell of humidity is "always in" and in addition, the BED was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Really disappointed with the the BED, springs are all over and lower to almost the floor level. The Sofa needs a deep cleanse and TV does not receive any "clear" channels.

Summary: Really a great property. The owners were very friendly and professional. They provide a book with local resturants and nearby coffee shops which we found all suggestions to be fantastic. We had a problem with a shower drain that doesn't drain properly, a slight annoyance. The cleaning crew needs to clean the flooring, because it was very dirty. With that said, we will stay here again as I am confident that the cleaning crew will be corrected.

Summary: We found this place for a night as we drove around Costa Rica for 2 weeks, and it worked out very well. We did laundry, cooked dinner, cooked breakfast, and hit the road again. It was a little noisy...but it would be hard to avoid noise in this city. We found it using google no problem. I felt very secure and the price was right. There was a nice grocery store not far.

Summary: Directions were definitely a problem as none of the streets in the neighbourhood seem to be named (!), but once we finally found this cute little apartment in San Pedro, outside of the hustle and bustle of San Jose, it was perfect for us for a one-night stop on our way across the country. Modern, clean and comfortable. There could be a few more supplies in the kitchenette (wine glasses, can opener, corkscrew?), but luckily we had a handy multi-tool with us. It was a quick stay, but we had dinner and then breakfast there, and all was good.

Summary: I have visited San Jose many times for work. In my experience, it is difficult to find a furnished short-stay apartment. This property is exactly what I needed. It is one of 6 or 7 studio units in a small building located on a main road. It is a short bus or taxi ride away from many universities, including the University of Costa Rica, and just a couple of bus rides away from downtown San Jose. The apartment itself is well-designed, clean, and exactly as pictured - it has a low platform bed, kitchen table, small couch, and kitchenette area equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, mini fridge, hot plate, and plates/utensils. The apartment also has wireless internet, cable TV, and free shared laundry. The apartments are cleaned three times per week. Fernando and Maribel were quick to respond to my information request and have been extremely easy to work with. I'll definitely stay here again in the future!
