This lovely farmhouse is ideal for larger groups wanting to explore all the Norfolk Broads has to offer, with boat hire and riverside shops nearby.. Ground Floor:
Living room: With electric coal-effect fire, Freeview TV and DVD player.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.

Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.
Additional folding single bed available on request.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the grounds, 500 yards away.. Situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, Marsh Farmhouse is semi-detached and offers comfortable and generous accommodation to delight larger family groups. Tucked away, adjoining the owners’ home, with amazing views across open marsh and countryside rich in bird and wildlife, there is plenty to do and see in the local surrounding area. There is freshwater fishing available at Stokesby (at cost, licence required).
The seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is 10 miles, for excellent sandy beach, promenade, fun fair, amusements, leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, Sea Life Centre, crazy golf, cinema complex, miniature village, horse racing and a town centre with plenty of shops, market square, restaurants and cafés. Acle is just 2 miles away for boat hire, supermarket, chemist, bank, butcher and pubs, and there is a market day every Thursday where auction sales are held.
Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 11 miles, for daily boat hire, river trips, riverside shops, cafés and restaurants. Caister Castle and car museum, 6½ miles, Caister on Sea, 7½ miles, while Norwich is 14 miles for excellent shopping, its historic castle museum and cathedral, the theatre with a variety of shows, and the market square with its cafes, restaurants and pubs. The RAF Air Defence Radar Museum is 8 miles away, and Pettits Adventure Park for children under 7 years and BeWILDerwood are 13 miles. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Park is 6 miles away and Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens 5 miles. There is good cycling and walking opportunities in the surrounding area and Strumpshaw Fen RSPB and Ranworth Broad have nature trails and offer great bird watching. Beach 10 miles Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marsh Farmhouse. The house is very spacious and has two good bathrooms. It is a great place as a base if you wish to explore the Broads. We would recommend this house it is very comfortable but could possibly do with updating.

Summary: Marsh farm house is a cosy and well maintained property. It’s very spacious and can easily accommodate 8-9 guests. We were a group of 8 including 4 boys (3-9years). Kids had great time at the property with lot of out door space to play and good collection of toys and books when they were stuck inside due to rain. Farm house location is excellent to access various interesting places in Norfolk Broads. Sandy beaches of Horsey with opportunity for seal sighting ( unfortunately we couldn’t site seals) and sea palling are within 15 min drive. Linda has been a very good host. She ensured all of us had a memorable stay at the property. She provided lot of information and brochures to help us plan our day trips around Acle and the Broads. Must visit Horning they have a cruise on the Broads which is awesome and kids would love it in case you don’t want to hire your own private boat. Do eat at Acle Bridge Inn, lovely family pub with good variety of food much better than a regular pub. Excellent staff and lovely outdoor area next to the river. Overall we had a great trip and would love to visit again Marsh Farm house.

Summary: We had a wonderful holiday at Marsh Farm. The owner who lived on site was never intrusive but did quickly sort the couple of very small issues that arose during the two weeks we were there. The cottage was very comfortable and we felt at home as soon as we arrived

Summary: Marsh farmhouse Stayed for 2 nights just after mid April 2019. Beautiful cottage. Great views from the rooms. Clean, spacious cottage. Well kept front garden with seating area. Great views from the patio and kitchen/dining area too. Thoroughly enjoyed having our meals outside on the patio, in the sunshine. The cottage is not too far from coastal towns, sandy beaches, places of interest and other larger towns etc (all within about 10 to 12 miles) A supermarket and chemist within 2 miles of the cottage. A few walking trails in the area too. The cottage is a little bit difficult to find in the dark because of high mist/fog on the road occasionally, so just to be aware. The cottage owner was friendly and answered to any queries/requests soon. Most basic amenities were available at the cottage. A good selection of boards games were available too. Had a wonderful stay. Thoroughly enjoyed (especially as we were very lucky with the weather). Thanks to the cottage owner for the clean, spacious cottage and it's provisions.

Summary: We loved staying here. The weather was very cold but the house was always warm and comfortable with lots of hot water for baths and showers. Based on past experience this is not always the case!
