WHY STAY IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD? Safety, No Crime! Arabi is in St. Bernard Parish (County). Arabi has a superior law enforcement that does not tolerate crime. When you stay in Arabi, you can go enjoy all of the fun things that New Orleans has to offer, but you return to sleep in Arabi without any worries of someone breaking into your house or car. Also, you can safely walk the streets at night in this neighborhood. Don't take a chance. Have a crime free vacation by staying at this house!
This is a beautifully restored four bedroom single home. It is 3 miles (10 minutes) from the French Quarter in the safest neighborhood in the city. The house has 12 foot ceilings. There are 3 full baths. This house has all of the character of an old New Orleans home. I have Wifi, a complete kitchen and a large yard that has newly built pergola with a patio set. From the house, it is nice to watch cruise ships, river boats and other vessels traveling on the Mississippi River. Also, there is off street parking. This is the safest area in the city! Unlike New Orleans, we have plenty of police in Arabi and they do not tolerate any riff-raft coming here to commit crimes. Arabi is in St.Bernard Parish(county). My wife and I love New Orleans. We have our favorite restaurants and places to go in New Orleans, but we love coming back to our house in St. Bernard Parish to safely sleep at night with peace of mind.

Summary: This property was so charming. The house is an older house that is very well kept. It was very clean and pool was great. Unfortunately we can too late in the year so the water was cold but it was still very nice. The thermostat was a little off but it got cold so that's all that matters to us. Would be nice if they offered shampoos and soaps for shower, but that's the only thing I would add. Great location as there was a festival going on behind the house that was a very quick walk.. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to Nola.

Summary: The property was nice and clean. 2 of the 4 rooms had their own private bathroom with a shower. All the comfort and amenities of home. Large living and dining area for all six of us to move around comfortably. The pool, and outside Tiki Hut, and greenery is top tier. The French Quarter is nice scenic drive from the property. Great place to stay!

Summary: This quaint property has quirks but lives up to its expectations and was a nice place for our families stay while visiting New Orleans. The neighborhood is quiet, we were probably the loudest there. The home itself is cozy and the pool was a life saver on those hot hot hot days!

Summary: We are a group of adults in our 50s and 60s. We stayed 4 days before our cruise. I highly recommend this house. Very clean and a very nice community. The property owner was very responsive. We enjoyed the house and the pool. We took walks on the levee and around the neighborhood. The only thing we would ask is the property owner provide more paper products. There was not enough toilet paper or paper towels. We bought some and ended up leaving the extra behind. Also, the property owner asks that you start a load of towels but they don't leave laundry soap. We used what we brought with us. It would be nice if these items were provided. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: The house was nice and in a good neighborhood. They didn’t supply you with to many extras. We had to buy paper towels and ran out of toilet paper and asked us to start a load of laundry before we left but there was no detergent. Other than that it was a nice stay for us.
