You will enjoy staying in this 2,400 square foot, 5 bed, 2 bath home. It is located in Guttenberg, Iowa, right along the Mississippi River. This house is setup with 2 levels. 3 beds up stairs, with 1 bathroom, living room, full kitchen, front porch(great spot for drinking coffee in the morning, while enjoying the view of the river.) You will also enjoy the spacious basement area, which has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchenette/dining area, and a spacious family room with 1 extra queen bed. There is also a washer and dryer unit in the basement.
The kitchen upstairs, is fully equipped for cooking, including all appliances, utensils, pots, dishes, etc. There will also be a charcoal grill available outside, so make sure to pick up some charcoal.
All linens are provided. Sheets, pillows, and towels.
In front of the house, there is street parking on both sides of the street, for lots of extra parking. You may also park a vehicle in the back, right in front of the garage.
Enjoy the beautiful view of the Mississippi River, out the front windows while sitting in the living room or front porch. If you want a closer look, walk across the street and sip on your coffee, while sitting on one of the walking path benches. The view is absolutely breath taking either way!
Depending on the water level, you will have full access to the property dock, right across the road from the house. You can either park your boat there or if you just want to grab a pole and see what's biting, go right ahead! There are also 2 marinas, one north of the house, above the dam, or the south marina, which sits below the dam. **No disposal of fish remains on the property. Failure to comply, will incur a $100 disposal fee.
UTV’s are allowed in Clayton County and in Guttenberg. Golf carts are also allowed in town.
There are many great places to grab a bite to eat. Anywhere from pizza and ice cream(Joe's pizza is great!), to a burger and fries. There are so many great places to choose from!
Are you looking for some entertainment?! Lakeside ballroom, in town, not only has great food, but hosts various bands, with great music. There is also music in the park, right south of the house each week during the summer.

Summary: This house is in a fantastic location. Great view of the river. Very clean and well kept. Enough space for our group without being cramped. Definitely will rent again when we come back to the area.

Summary: Tyler was great to work with. He’s very prompt in replying to questions. Every Summer Has A Story is just wonderful. Very clean, well stocked, beds are comfortable and the location can ‘t be beat.we enjoyed watching the barge traffic in the Mighty Mississippi River! Guttenberg is a clean, well kept town and we met many friendly people who work in the shops & restaurants. Give this place a try-it’s fabulous!

Summary: We were in town for our sons to play at the Field of Dreams. We stayed in Guttenberg by referral and the house was the same! We loved the quiet neighborhood and enjoyed the walking! The view of the river was a wonderful way to start the day. Tyler was very quick in his replying to my messages! We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

Summary: Loved the location of this beautiful home overlooking the Mississippi River. Enjoyed the company of sisters all weekend and taking in the shops of Guttenberg, Marquette, McGregor and Prairie de Chein on Saturday. Very clean and well stocked.
