Positive: Thank you to the host Thomas for an unforgettable stay at the Glass House. We stayed in the wooden one. The food from Chef Sam was amazing and went beyond expectations. Every meal tasted like it was made with real passion. The packed lunches for our game drives were convenient and perfectly portioned. The beds were soft and very comfortable. The view of Mt. Kilimanjaro was breathtaking. The pool was a little cold but still fun and refreshing. The showers were not heated, but after a day in the African sun, they felt just right. Another Sam, who takes care of the house, was incredibly kind and attentive. He made sure we were always comfortable and set up an outdoor fire every evening just in time for stargazing. Getting there was a bit challenging. We’ve pinned the exact spot where to turn off from the main highway C102 and added a photo for directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CYh3SEKKKM2rwhQx6?g_st=aw. The Google Maps route is bumpier, so it’s best to avoid it. This place is truly special and made for an unforgettable experience.

Positive: Everyone was very welcoming. I had a dog with me which they were very accommodating about. The place looked out over Mount Kilimanjaro. They put on the fire pit and bbq on request whenever it was needed.
Negative: The kitchenware was extremely high in the cupboards making it very difficult to get anything.
Summary: Great value for money. Lovely location and hosts.

Positive: We had excellent communication with the owner. He tried to solve all our questions. His assistants tried to help us in everything. The owner organized a great safari.
Negative: The house needs renovation. It is noticeable that nothing has been updated here for several years. The shower is broken in all the bedrooms, the furniture is broken and dirty. The curtains were dirty, the room smells of dampness. The owner definitely needs to do some renovations.
