Positive: Our hosts Barry & Donna were delightful and very welcoming and gave us lots of ideas of things to do and places to go in and around Dunedin. The accommodation was immaculate inside & out, spacious and extremely well maintained - a real gem. It's self contained and provided everything we needed, along with some extra treats. Its central location meant we could walk to many great historic attractions, eateries, shops and gardens. A delightful drive along Portobello Road right on the water front led to a turn off to the beautiful, historic Larnarch Castle & gardens, a Dunedin icon. A wonderful afternoon and both attractions, along with the Dunedin Railway station and Settlers Museum not to be missed. We loved Dunedin, enhanced by our stay at Amross Motel. Thank you so much Barry & Donna. We hope to get back to Dunedin and will definitely stay there again. Very highly recommended particularly if you can stay for a few nights or more!
