Positive: Breakfast was exceptional for a buffet. I liked the grounds and reception staff were very good. Restaurant staff good also. Can tell from reception area that the place is upmarket. Liked that we had a coffee machine in our room!
Negative: Unfortunately the cleaners need to pay attention to details. Arrived and bin in bathroom was in pieces with no liner and no toilet roll. Another day we had no face washers or replacement of mouthwash etc. I felt they missed things. Also the picture from room on the booking was not ground floor looking at yachts - it showed sweeping water views - very misleading advertising. Room did have a couple of issues - clothes drawers too few and bench space to do work on - not enough. Tv too small - couldn’t read about each movie. Should put in bigger ones.
Summary: I enjoyed staying at the anchorage. It’s relaxing and good to feel spoilt❤️

Positive: The coffee was very good.
Negative: With the exception of the lack of cereals to choose from the breakfast was good. I don't mean Rice Bubbles and Corn Flakes. Toasted muesli is a suggestion.
Summary: I really like The Anchorage, always have. Great position, very relaxing, parking easy.

Positive: The location is beautiful. Loved the communal area sitting near the fireplace with a wine. The first night we arrived a bit late so ordered pizzas from their casual dining, they were delicious. Great buffet breakfast too!

Positive: First of all, the staff was very welcoming. The room was very tidy and with a good view. Breakfast was fantastic with all the fresh ingredients.
Negative: The bathroom exaust fan was not working and we could not open the window too becasue it was facing the car park. on the first day it was stinking a bit but when complained they fixed it straight away.
Summary: Worth the visit. very close to all the activities and the city centre too.
