Positive: We can't recommend this apartment highly enough—it had everything we could possibly need for exploring Cannes and the surrounding region -- and only a couple of steps away from the beach. The breathtaking sea views made it hard to leave! We especially appreciated the convenience of the washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, and the on-site garage. It was also extremely baby-friendly, with a cot, high chair, and bathtub provided. Gérard was a fantastic host, offering excellent support and local tips that made us feel truly welcome. We hope to return again soon! Tack så mycket!

Positive: Stunning, panoramic views from the large balcony- even better than the photos! We loved sitting and watching it all. Excellent location in Cannes: everything you need or want to see is within a few minutes walk of the apartment. We also went by train to Monaco and used an uber taxi to go to the mountain village of St Paul de Vence- the artist Marc Chagall is buried there. Lots of art and sculptures studios as well as boutique shops. We have been to Nice before, so didn’t go there this trip. However, if you haven’t been, it is another beautiful place to visit. Gerard is a very intelligent, kind and helpful host. We arrived late evening and Gerard provided us with lovely French bread, wine, cold meats, fruit, cheese and milk for our first day- delicious! His English is good which helped us too. Lots of thoughtful touches in the apartment such as fresh flowers on the table, toiletries to use and cleaning products provided. The beach has little cafe kiosks every 50 metres or so. The nearest to the apartment is number 16. If you go right and walk along to numbers 26-30, there are toilet cabins for public use on the other side of the road and the beach is quieter. Perfect for swimming and sunbathing! We had lovely meals out in the square near the film festival building and marina, as well as cheaper snacks and coffees in the old part of town. Also, we bought fresh fruit and salad from the main market. At one end opposite the market, on the corner, there was a fabulous bakery and cake shop! We felt very safe and welcome in Cannes- everyone we met was very helpful, polite and friendly.
Summary: Fabulous week of sunshine, stunning views, relaxation and experiencing some French culture!
