Agriturismo San Tommaso is located on a hill with a splendid view over the valley 2km from the small town of Pomarance near Volterra. The property has a sunny position from morning to evening and is located 30 km from the sea and in a central position with respect to the most important art cities such as Pisa, Siena, Florence and Lucca. In about 30 minutes you can reach Volterra, Massa Marittima, San Gimignano, the cellars of the most important wines of Tuscany and many other small medieval villages. Ideal for lovers of trekking, mountain biking and horse riding in the nearby convensioned riding school. At 3km the sources of the Cecina river with wonderful pools of water for swimming. On the property there are 2 houses with 3 apartments each. All apartments are very independent with their own private outdoor area with barbecue and parking space. The surrounding garden is very large and even children can run and play in the play area. There are large terraces equipped with a wonderful view over the valley and a fenced m16x m8 swimming pool with Jacuzzi and waterfall, surrounded by a large green lawn where each apartment has its own private shaded area with deck chairs and sun loungers. Breakfasts, tastings and dinners with local products are available on request.
The 73 sqm apartment is in the main house on the ground floor with a covered pergola and table at the entrance. In front of a large green garden terrace with a beautiful panoramic view, large stone barbecue and deck chairs. Internally a large living room of about 50 square meters, with a large and complete kitchen on one side, a dining area in the center and a relaxation corner with 2 sofa beds on the other. A double bedroom with a second independent entrance to the garden, a second bedroom without windows with 1 single bed and a bathroom with shower. The surrounding garden is fenced and can be accessed from the remote controlled gate and you can park next to the apartment. It has an independent air conditioning system and central heating. Spacious surrounding garden with playground, scenic walk and dining area.

Summary: This is wonderful accomodation situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just minutes from amenities. We stayed for one week in the La Vita apartment which was much bigger than the pictures indicate and had everything you would need for a great stay. The property's surrounding were beautiful and a great pool for the kids. The host Sergio was fantastic, and works very hard to keep up the high standards on the property.. he also hosts a great Pizza evening for the guest. We could not recommend this property highly enough, and would love to return...in fact we didn't want to leave. Bonnor-McNamara family July 2018.

Summary: I would like to say Thank You Sergio for your hospitality and nice welcoming. A Villa itself was perfect to stay with a kids. They have really enjoyed a swimming pool and me with my family were amazed of a landscape and view from the terrace. Pica evening was another bonus during the stay and we would definitely wish to come back one day again.

Summary: We had a wonderful week in Agriturismo San Tommaso in the Tuscan countryside. We lived in the apartment La Vite. It was perfect for our family (2 adults+2 children). It was nice and tidy, clean and had a well equipped kitchen for us who like to cook our own meals. The children loved the pool and the animals a lot. Even thou they could be a little bit annoying begging for food at the breakfast-table outside the apartment in the mornings. The pictures at the homepage really tell the truth. The place is as beautiful as they promise or even better. Sergio is a very nice and available host. Always willing to serve and help to make your stay as good as possible. San Tommaso is situated near Pomarance with a grocery store closed on sundays!!! We came a late Saturday evening, so we nearly starved to death before we found an open COOP-store in Volterra. The place is well situated for day-trips to for example Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Bolghari and the sea. A very nice beach is in Castiglioncello, which is a beautiful village between Cècina and Livorno. Thank you Sergio! Hopefully we meet again... /The Widerberg family of Sweden

Summary: We stayed in the appartment La Vite for 1 week, and it is a very nice and clean appartment. The kitchen is very complete, and the appartment is really 5-stars! The garden in front of La vite is very nice, and our dog really liked it here. From this garden you have a beautiful view at the swimmingpool. Summary: My girlfriend and I stayed in La Vite for one week. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very nice. Everything was clean and well set up. The kitchen was nice and big and perfect for making a few home cooked meals. There is a terrace where you can sit and eat or just relax in de shade. It was also nice that there was a big garden, so that you could easily play some games. The swimming pool is great, with a lot of grass around it to sit. From the swimming pool area you have beautiful views of the landscape around you. Pomerance is a good location from where you can visit some nice cities. We visited Pisa and Livorno, which are easy to drive to. The house owner Sergio is very nice and helpful. He organised an evening where all the guests sat together and ate homemade pizza and drank local wine. We would certainly like to come back here.

Summary: We spent a week with 5 persons in l'olivo! Everything was fine! The appartment is not big but good enough for one family! Sergio was really nice! He made a grill party for all guests once! The kids loved the pool! We had a lot of fun! Gracie mille, Sergio!!!
