This Bach is suitable for families or couples on a golf, shopping, fishing, skiing or sightseeing trip or just for the perfect getaway.
The entire space is yours to use. It is very private with a huge sunny sheltered deck.
In the Bach you will find bedroom 1 with a queen bed, bedroom 2 with a bunk/ double bottom and single top and another single bed.
The bathroom provides a vanity shower and toilet.
We use hire serviced linen to provide our Airbnb guests high quality linen. All beds are made up with a towel and face cloth provided for each guest. If you require extra towels for the beach or hot pools, please bring your own
Fully stocked fire wood for winter months.
Panel heaters and heat pump. Plus open fire keeps Bach warm over the winter months.
PLEASE NOTE – This property is STRICTLY not suitable for parties, gatherings, events, or loud groups.
The whole home is yours to access and enjoy including the garage closest to the house.
The washing machine is in the garage.
Beyond the back deck the yard is not fenced.
We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.
This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood
Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.
Strictly No parties, Gatherings , events or loud groups.

Summary: We stayed at the bach for the summer holidays in the Taupō. It was nice and close to town without being in the thick of it all. We enjoyed the easy access to the lakeside cycle routes. The kitchen was really well equiped, and we enjoyed being able to store our bikes in the garage.

Summary: This little Bach is charming and rustic. It was extremely clean and we had excellent communication with the property manager. For 5 adults, it was a tight squeeze and a bit uncomfortable. I think 3 adults, or 2 adults kids would enjoy this place. Also, it needs a few upgrades, including the deck chairs (a few should be replaced). But listening to the birds from the deck is so pleasant!

Summary: The bach has all you need. The beds are comfortable with good linen. Air con is great on hot days. Nice to relax on the deck although the seats are not in great shape and we couldn’t get the umbrella up. Christmas decorations were a nice touch. The shower has very little water output.

Summary: Accurate listing. Clean, homely and good location between Woolworths and main Taupo township. Only downfall was the water pressure of the shower and I couldn’t find instructions to use the tv. Tried a few dvd but one never played at all, one got stuck on language option. It wasn’t a deal breaker, we could have contacted the property but decided to play a provided game instead.
