Positive: The view, close to the waves, very friendly Island with very laid-back vibe.
Negative: Lacked a few kitchen essentials (measuring cups) but we made do! Some mold around showers.
Summary: An amazing, relaxing week on Folly Beach in a very lovely beach house - would recommend and hope to come back!

Positive: Fantastic oceanfront location with direct access to the beach, and the perfect size for our family. Beautiful views from the porch and main living area, and the beach and neighborhood are nice and fairly quiet.
Negative: We reserved on booking.com, and all of the applicable taxes and fees - which added significantly to the final price - were not disclosed until the very end when it is almost too late to go back. These additional fees and taxes totaled nearly 70% of the advertised rate - a real bait and switch that you need to watch out for.

Positive: I loved the location right on the beach. Home was inviting and just the right size. Would definitely stay again.
Negative: The path to the beach could use a walkway and staircase. Quite a drop off if you aren’t agile. Had to walk around the fence to use public access path to get down. Needs a little updating.
