Positive: Location and easy check in with welcoming smile and cocktails. The breach and pool layout. The location and Service by the pool restaurant. The early morning Lobby man who was helpful and the service offering morning coffee in the lobby. The DJ during the sundowner by the pool and the bus station right by the entrance of the hotel. The bread that comes with the ham was phenomenal delicious! The ham was so good I took i wanted to box it and the waiter was so kind and left it in the fridge for on hold.
Negative: The food on the Menü by the restaurant bar was ok. My local dish was very nice. My son ordered American salad but tbh. Why would he want to eat Cesar salad in Spain if he can have it in America. The wine was superb and my Spanish ham iberico was fabulous!

Positive: Lovely pool & setting overlooking the sea. Rooms are basic but clean.
Negative: This is my 2nd time at the property. We paid for a standard twin. However this time the room was tiny with no balcony or even Juliette doors. As I’ve been before I knew this was not the same room. Very disappointed. I complained but they were unable to move me until the next night. The next room was the normal size but no balcony just Juliette style doors but at least was the right size.

Positive: Our superior Seaview room was newly refurbished in a contemporary style (although a bit weird entering the room into the bathroom). The view from the room and pool area was stunning. We were on half board and food was very good with lots of authentic local choices. Meal times were long so not rushed. We enjoyed a long unhurried alfresco breakfast each day. Loved being able to swim in the sea.
Negative: The hotel was a bit soulless. We wanted relaxed but there wasn’t even a pianist in the evening. Apart from weekend afternoons when there is a pool DJ, there was no music or entertainment of any sort (this was beginning of August). The main bar and terrace was closed. The only bar open in the evening was the Blue Bar on pool level so nothing really to do after dinner. The resort too, Ses Illetes, was pretty dead with no bars. It seemed that entertainment was centred in other hotels from where we could hear music. When we arrived our room hadn’t been air conditioned (although available) and was a very hot 26 degrees which took a day to cool down. We knew drinks weren’t included on half board, however we would have expected water with our evening meal. However this was 4.50€ per bottle (unless included by your tour operator (which didn’t include booking.com). We booked H/B but as we arrived late we had paid for one meal we didn’t have - tbf the hotel left a plate in our room of cold meat and cheese but it was unrefrigerated in a room of 26 degrees so we didn’t risk eating it.
Summary: A relaxing break with comfortable room, good food and nice views but with no entertainment whatsoever.

Positive: Location, views, clean and beige, nice access to pool facilities and the water.
Negative: The staff were sometimes rude, either rushing us or taking too long to serve us. It also was a little expensive.
