Positive: This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day of our four day stay.
Negative: Overall, we had a really wonderful stay at the Beau Rivage. The only disappointment was with the staff working on the terrace bar. The first three evenings we were there, the service was terrible. On one occasion we waited a full forty minutes to get our drinks - the weather was hot with temperatures in the 30s so we were thirsty! We asked for a bottle of water as soon as we were seated as well as a beer and a juice. Forty minutes later we received the beer (which was cold), the juice (warm) and no bottle of water. Another ten minutes passed before we were able to attract the attention of a waitress and I asked politely if I could possibly have some ice in my juice and if she could please bring the water. Another fifteen minutes passed before she returned with some ice cubes in a glass and put it down on the table without a word, without even making eye contact. When I smiled and said thank you, she completely ignored me and just walked away - we didn’t have a chance to ask for the water again and retreated to our room after what was a disappointing experience from a hotel of this standing. And yes, the bar was busy but not as busy as it had been on previous days. In my book, there is no excuse for rudeness, ever. We would have easily overlooked the slow service if it had been delivered with a smile. I’m happy to say that the following evening there were different staff on duty on the terrace and the service was impeccable.

Positive: Personal and service was great. The lake view from the room is unforgettable. Breakfast was wonderful. Definitely one of the best hotels on Lake Geneva.
Summary: Great combination of service, food, location / view and amenities. Enjoyed it a lot!

Positive: cozy room, beautifull balcony and garden, nice atmosphere , yummy dessert
Negative: we stayed 3 nights and all 3 mornigs was so noisy from 8.00 am, tractor in the garden done something staff promised that next day will stop but was still noisy, not slept well
